Ylva Anna Maria Lindh was a Swedish Social Democratic politician and lawyer who served as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1998 until her death. She was also a Member of the Riksdag for Södermanland County until her assassination. On 10 September 2003, four days before a referendum on replacing the Swedish krona with the euro as currency, Lindh was stabbed by Mijailo Mijailović at the NK department store in central Stockholm; she died the next morning at Karolinska University Hospital. Anna Lindh had been seen as a likely candidate to succeed Göran Persson as Social Democratic party leader. Her greatest commitment was to international cooperation and solidarity, as well as to environmental issues. She worked on these issues throughout her career, serving as Environment Minister from 1994 to 1998, and then as Foreign Minister for the last five years of her life.
Sveriges Television AB, shortened to SVT, is the Swedish national public television broadcaster, funded by a public service tax on personal income set by the Riksdag. Prior to 2019, SVT was funded by a television licence fee payable by all owners of television sets. The Swedish public broadcasting system is largely modelled after the system used in the United Kingdom, and Sveriges Television shares many traits with its British counterpart, the BBC.
Lars Filip Hammar and Fredrik Wikingsson, commonly known as Filip och Fredrik, are two Swedish writers, television hosts and journalists both known for their youthful, though intellectual, humour and unconventional journalism. Since 2002, Filip and Fredrik have produced eleven different TV shows together and, in the aftermath of the shows' successes in Sweden, written books. The duo owns, and works within, the company "Framgångsfabriken", which started in 2001 and takes credit for their media appearances.
The Grammis are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The oldest Swedish music awards, they were instituted as a local equivalent of the Grammy Awards given in the United States. The awards ceremony is generally held each year in February in Stockholm. The awards were established in 1969 and awarded until 1972 when they were cancelled, then revived in 1987.
"Boten Anna" is a song by Swedish musician Basshunter, from his first studio album, LOL. Following the single's release in 2006, Basshunter gained popularity in his native Sweden, as well as Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Poland and the Netherlands. The song topped hit charts and, on 3 May 2006, was named Norway's official Russ-song of the year. It was also the most popular song at The Gathering LAN party 2006. An English version titled "Now You're Gone", sung by Sebastian Westwood, using unrelated lyrics, was released in December 2007.
Parlamentet is a satirical panel gameshow on TV4, which parodies Swedish political debate. It was first broadcast in 1999 and is currently in its 23rd series. The current presenter is Anders S. Nilsson, who has hosted the show since 2004. Current team members include Babben Larsson, Robin Paulsson, Johan Rheborg and Johan Glans. Kodjo Akolor has also been featured. The program is a Swedish version of the short-run British show If I Ruled the World. The comedians are divided into two teams (parties), red and blue, representing traditional political colours.
Sanna Viktoria Nielsen is a Swedish singer and television presenter. On her seventh attempt, she won Melodifestivalen in 2014 with the song "Undo" and so represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, finishing in 3rd place overall. Sanna was one of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 commentators for Sweden and hosted Melodifestivalen 2015 along with comedian Robin Paulsson. She was announced as the new presenter for the sing-along show Allsång på Skansen for the summer of 2016. She hosted Eurovision The Party at the Tele2 Arena for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

Maria Elisabeth "Mia" Skäringer is a Swedish actress and comedian who has twice won the Kristallen Award. Her first television job was at the Sanning och konsekvens show on ZTV, where she met Klara Zimmergren. Skäringer and Zimmergren after that hosted the radio show Roll on together. The duo has also had their own sketch comedy show on SVT in Sweden called Mia och Klara. The show was awarded a Kristallen award for best comedy show on television in both 2008 and 2009. She has starred as Anna Svensson in Solsidan since 2010.

Fokus is a Swedish-language weekly news and current affairs magazine. It was founded by Martin Ahlquist, Lars Grafström, Karin Pettersson and Martin Ådahl. It was first published in December 2005. In 2007, it was awarded the Swedish Publicists' Association's grand prize. The magazine publishes 41 issues per year and has a circulation of approximately 31,000. Fokus is editorially politically unbound. The magazine is owned and published by FPG Media, a Swedish limited company.
André Pops is a Swedish television presenter and sports commentator at the Swedish television station SVT. He has presented some of Sweden's most notable sporting events and has also won awards for his achievements.
Rickard Olsson-Essé, is a Swedish television and radio presenter. He presented Bingolotto between 2005 and 2008 and since 2008 he presents the quiz show "Vem vet mest?" and "Vem vet mest junior?" broadcast on SVT.
Karin Ragnhild Maria Hübinette, née Pettersson, is a Swedish journalist and television presenter. She is the sister of politician Hillevi Engström. Hübinette started her career as the presenter of the debate show Svart eller vitt, which was broadcast on TV4 in the mid-1990s. After that she presented Uppdrag granskning and Kvällsöppet, and was also a reporter at Sveriges Radio. She then worked solely for SVT presenting the news shows Agenda and Aktuellt. She is a board member of the company Hands on AB.
