Agenia Walker Clark is an American academic administrator serving as the president of Fisk University since 2023. She previously served as the chief executive officer for the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee for 19 years.
Clark earned a B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee. [1] She completed an Ed.D. in leadership at Vanderbilt University. [1]
Clark was the vice president of human resources at the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation. [1] She served as a senior director of human resources at Vanderbilt University and was manager of government relations at Nortel Networks. [1] Clark served as the chief executive officer for the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee for 19 years. [1] [2] In September 2023,she was named the incoming 18th president of Fisk University. Hazel Reid O'Leary is an American lawyer,politician and university administrator who served as the 7th United States secretary of energy from 1993 to 1997. She also served as the 14th president of Fisk University from 2004 to 2013,a historically black college and her alma mater. O'Leary's tenure at Fisk came amid financial difficulty for the school,during which time she increased enrollment and contentiously used the school's art collection to raise funds.
William Harrison Frist is an American physician,businessman,conservationist and policymaker who served as a United States Senator from Tennessee from 1995 to 2007.
