Agustin Mauro Gauto (born 31 December 1997) is an Argentinian professional boxer who held the WBO International light-flyweight title in 2019. As of December 2021, he is ranked as the world's eighth best active mini-flyweight by The Ring . [2]
Gauto made his professional debut against Mauro Ezequiel Quinteros on September 16, 2017, and won the fight by unanimous decision. He amassed a 7-0 record before being scheduled to fight for his first title, the vacant South American light flyweight title, against Nohel Arambulet on June 8, 2018. [3] Arambulet retired from the bout at the end of the eight round. [4] Gauto was scheduled to make his first title defense against Luis Golindano on September 1, 2018. [5] He won the fight by a third-round knockout. [6]
Gauto was scheduled to fight Jose Antonio Jimenez for the vacant WBO Latino light-flyweight title on October 31, 2018. [7] He won the fight by a first-round technical knockout. [8]
Gauto fought Jesus Cervantes Villanueva for the vacant IBF Youth light-flyweight title on April 6, 2019. [9] He won the fight by a first-round knockout. Gauto was scheduled to defend his newly acquired title just three weeks later, on April 27, 2019, against Mauro Nicolas Liendro. He beat Liendro by a sixth-round knockout. [10]
Gauto was scheduled to fight Jorge Luis Orozco for the vacant WBO International light-flyweight title on September 28, 2019. [11] He won the fight by unanimous decision. [12] Gauto made the first defense of his WBO International title against Kenny Cano on November 16, 2019, two months after winning it. [13] He won the fight by a second-round knockout. [14]
Gauto made the second defense of his WBO International light-flyweight title against Julio Mendoza on February 29, 2020. [15] He won the fight by a second-round knockout. [16] Gauto was next scheduled to face Juan Jose Jurado on December 12, 2020, in a 117 lbs catchweight bout. He won the fight by a first-round technical knockout. [17]
Gauto was scheduled to face David Barreto on November 13, 2021, in his first fight outside of the American continents, as the bout was scheduled to take place in Duesseldorf, Germany. Barreto later withdrew from the fight due to a positive COVID-19 test, and was replaced by Jaba Memishishi. Gauto made quick work of Memishishi, stopping him by technical knockout in the first round. [18] Gauto was next booked to face Miel Fajardo on March 5, 2022. [19] The event was eventually postponed to 26 March. [20] He lost the fight by a second-round knockout. It was the first loss of his professional career. [21]
In his U.S. debut on April 6, 2024 in Las Vegas, Gauto was stopped by Galal Yafai in the eighth round. [22]

Alexander "Alex" de Jesús was a Puerto Rican professional boxer. As an amateur, de Jesús represented the island of Puerto Rico in international events, including the 2003 Pan American Games, the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games and the 2004 Summer Olympics. Early in his career, he won seven regional titles: the World Boxing Organization Latino lightweight title, World Boxing Council Caribbean Boxing Federation lightweight title, World Boxing Association Fedecaribe Lightweight title, WBO Latino light welterweight title, WBA Fedecaribe Welterweight title, WBC Latino light welterweight title and the WBA Fedebol light welterweight title.
Donnie Liboon Nietes is a Filipino professional boxer. He is a world champion in four weight-classes, having previously held the WBO mini-flyweight title from 2007 to 2011; the WBO and The Ring magazine junior-flyweight titles between 2011 and 2016; IBF flyweight title from 2017 to 2018; and the WBO junior-bantamweight title from 2018 to 2019. He is the longest-reigning Filipino boxing world champion, surpassing in 2014 the record set in 1967 by Boxing Hall of Fame inductee Gabriel "Flash" Elorde. He was one of the first three Asian fighters with world titles in at least four weight classes alongside fellow Filipinos Manny Pacquiao and Nonito Donaire.
José Ángel "Carita" López Rivera is a Puerto Rican former professional boxer who has competed in the flyweight and super flyweight divisions. His first professional championship was the Puerto Rican flyweight title, which won by defeating José Luis De Jesús. López's first championship opportunity was against Alberto Jiménez for the World Boxing Organization's flyweight title, in a contest that he lost by unanimous decision. This was followed by three more world championships fights, two of them for major titles. However, López lost these contests by unanimous decision. On June 23, 2001, López won the WBO Latino super flyweight title. After losing to Fernando Montiel in his fifth world title opportunity, he recurred to fight for regional championships. From 2001 to 2008, López compiled an undefeated record consisting of 14 wins and a single draw. On March 28, 2009, López defeated Pramuansak Phosuwan to win the WBO's super flyweight world championship.
