H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa is a member of the Bahraini ruling family.
Ahmed got a master of business management degree from St. Edward's University in 1986. [1]
Ahmed was director of the Bahrain Stock Exchange. [1] He was appointed as the governor of the Bahrain Monetary Agency from 2002 to January 2005. He served as Minister of Finance from January 2005 until December 2018, [1] [2] He also held the responsibility for overseeing oil and gas affairs between July 2012 and December 2014. [1]
Ahmed was appointed as auditor general at the National Audit Office of Bahrain in May 2019. [1]
Manama is the capital and largest city of Bahrain,with an approximate population of 297,502 as of 2012. Long an important trading center in the Persian Gulf,Manama is home to a very diverse population. After periods of Portuguese and Persian control and a short invasion from the ruling dynasty of Saudi Arabia,followed by a longer invasion by Oman,Bahrain established itself as an independent nation in 1971 following a period of British hegemony.

The House of Khalifa is the ruling family of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Al Khalifas profess Sunni Islam and belong to the Anizah tribe. Some members of this tribe joined the Utub alliance which migrated from Najd in central Arabia to Kuwait,then ruled all of Qatar,more specifically Al Zubarah,which they built and ruled over before settling in Bahrain in the early 17th century. The current head of the family is King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,who became the Emir of Bahrain in 1999 and proclaimed himself King of Bahrain in 2002,in fact becoming a constitutional monarch.

Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa is a Bahraini diplomat who served as Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2005 until January 2020. Khalid became only the second foreign minister in Bahrain's history after replacing Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa who then became Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain.

Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah was a Kuwaiti royal and politician who served as the prime minister of Kuwait from 2011 to 2019. He previously served as minister of defense as well as deputy prime minister. In April 2021 a Kuwaiti court ordered his detention on corruption charges.

The common threat of Iran has provided common ground for a thaw in what were once tense relations. Bahrain's foreign policy traditionally supports the creation of an independent Palestinian state. Bahrain has an embassy in Tel Aviv. Israel has an embassy in Manama.
Kamal Ahmed is a Bahraini politician and current Minister of Transportation and Communications. In February 2011,he became the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of Bahrain by the appointment of King Hamad ibn Isa Al Khalifa. He has also been the Executive Chairman of Operations at the Bahrain Development Board.
Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani is a Bahraini engineer and retired lieutenant general. He is the foreign minister,having formerly been the secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) from 1 April 2011 to February 2020. He was the fifth GCC secretary general and the first with military background since the GCC was established.

Abdullah bin Suleiman Al Hamdan,commonly known as Abdullah Suleiman and also by his nickname Wazīr KullīShaīʾ,was the treasurer and long-term as well as first finance minister of Saudi Arabia (1932–1955).
