Ain Diab is a commune located at the Corniche of Casablanca, Morocco. The commune is affluent and famous for the fashionable stretch of coastline known as the Corniche. There are numerous hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, and Lalla Meryem Beach and Ain Diab Beach. There is also the ribat and island of Sidi Abderrahman, which is now connected to the mainland by bridge.

Ain Diab hosted a round of the Formula One World Championship in 1958. Amongst the notable residents is the British-born writer Tahir Shah.

The first McDonald's franchise in Africa and in the Arab world opened on Ain Diab in 1992. [1]

Nour El Ain is Egyptian singer Amr Diab's most successful album. It was released in July 1996 and became a tremendous success not only in the Middle East but worldwide. The title track and its English version "Habibi", was an international phenomenon, becoming a crossover hit in Pakistan, India, Brazil, Iran, Argentina, Chile, France, and South Africa. The song was remixed by several European arrangers and has become a big pull on the dance floors of Europe. The video clip, also produced by Alam El Phan for the song "Nour El Ain", was one of the most lavish and expensive productions in Egyptian pop music at the time. "Nour El Ain" was at the time the best selling album ever released by a Middle Eastern artist.

Anfa Circuit Motorsport venue in Morocco

The Anfa Circuit was a street circuit in Anfa, Morocco used in the Moroccan Grand Prix in 1931, 1932 and 1934. From 1957 on the Ain-Diab Circuit was used, which bordered the old Anfa Circuit.

The 12 Hours of Casablanca was a sports car endurance race organised on the route of the future Ain-Diab Circuit in Morocco. Only two editions were held in 1952 and 1953, before the race was replaced by the Moroccan Grand Prix in Agadir for the 1954 season.
