Amr Abdul Baset Abdel Aziz Diab, commonly known as Amr Diab, is an Egyptian singer, composer and actor. He has established himself as an acclaimed recording artist and author in most Mediterranean countries. According to a research by Michael Frishkopf, he has created his style termed as "Mediterranean Music", a blend of Western and Egyptian rhythms. By 1992, he became the first Egyptian and Middle Eastern artist to start making high-tech music videos. His 2014 album "Shoft El Ayam" peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums Charts, making him the first Arabic performer to accomplish such an achievement.

Mohammedia is a port city on the west coast of Morocco between Casablanca and Rabat in the region of Casablanca-Settat. An esplanade or promenade is a long, open, level area, usually next to a river or large body of water, where people may walk. The Ain-Diab Circuit was a Formula One road circuit built in 1957, south west of Ain-Diab in Morocco, using the existing coast road and the main road from Casablanca to Azemmour that ran through the Sidi Abderhaman forest. Prior to 1957, the Anfa Circuit and the Agadir circuit were used for the Moroccan Grand Prix.

The title track and its English version "Habibi", was an international phenomenon, becoming a crossover hit in Pakistan, India, Brazil, Iran, Argentina, Chile, France, and South Africa. The song was remixed by several European arrangers and has become a big pull on the dance floors of Europe. The video clip, also produced by Alam El Phan for the song "Nour El Ain", was one of the most lavish and expensive productions in Egyptian pop music at the time. "Nour El Ain" was at the time the best selling album ever released by a Middle Eastern artist.
Salam Street, now renamed as "Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street", and less commonly known as 8th Street or Eastern Ring Road, is one of the main roads in the city of Abu Dhabi. It starts from Sheikh Zayed Bridge and curves its way around Abu Dhabi's eastern end until it ends at the intersection with Corniche Road. The Casablanca Tramway is a low-floor tram system in Casablanca, Morocco. As of 2019, it consists of two lines—ط1 (T1) from Sidi Moumen to Lissasfa, and ط2 (T2) from Sidi Bernoussi to Ain Diab—which intersect at 2 points and form a 47 km network with 71 stations. Two additional lines, ط3 and ط4, are scheduled to open in 2022.
Aïn El Berd is a commune (baladiyah) in the Aïn El Berd district (daïra) in the Sidi Bel Abbès province (wilayah) of Algeria. It is situated in the northwestern part of the country, in the Hauts Plateaux region, and has a typical Mediterranean climate. Established as an official commune on April 15, 1886, Aïn El Berd is known for its beautiful countryside views and sites, as well as for its vineyards, olive trees, and wheat products. During the French colonial era, the surrounding areas, then called Saint-Marc and Saint-Henri, gave wines of good quality, and in 1889 and 1900 won silver and gold medals, respectively.

The 12 Hours of Casablanca was a sports car endurance race organised on the route of the future Ain-Diab Circuit in Morocco. Only two editions were held in 1952 and 1953, before the race was replaced by the Moroccan Grand Prix in Agadir for the 1954 season.
