Aishath Rameela (born 12 September 1972) is a Maldivian politician who was the Minister of Agriculture and Animal Welfare from 2023 until her resignation in 2024. [2] [3] She resigned from the office due to health issues relating to cancer diagnosis. [4]
Rameela started her career in 1990,as a nurse. [5]
She served as the Minister of State for Health during the Waheed and Yameen administration. [6] [7] [8] Rameela has a PhD and was the Registrar at the Maldives Medical and Dental Council. [9]
