The Cabinet of Mohamed Muizzu is the current most senior level of the executive branch of the current Government of the Maldives. The cabinet ministers were appointed following the inauguration of President Mohamed Muizzu.
Mohamed Muizzu assumed office as President of the Maldives on 17 November 2023. The cabinet ministers were also appointed on 17 November 2023. The cabinet include 22 Ministers.
President Muizzu's administration comprises 22 ministers in the cabinet. The positions were distributed among politicians representing various political factions. Following the appointments of ministers, Muizzu submitted the names of ministers to the People's Majlis for approval. [1] [2]
Among twenty two cabinet ministers, three ministers, Ali Haidar Ahmed, Mohamed Shaheem and Ahmed Usham were unapproved after a brawl in the parliament. [3] President Muizzu re–Appointed the three ministers, Shaheem as Minister of Islamic Affairs, Usham as Attorney General and Haidar as Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development. [4] [5] [6]

The politics of the Maldives take place in the framework of a presidential representative democratic republic, whereby the President is the Head of Government. Executive power is exercised by the government. The President heads the executive branch and appoints the Cabinet; like many presidential democracies, each member of the cabinet need to be approved by the Parliament. The President, along with their pick for vice president, is directly elected by the denizens to a five-year term by a secret ballot. Once in office, they could be re-elected to a second 5-year term, which is the limit allowed by the Constitution. The current President of the Maldives is Mohamed Muizzu, when his predecessor, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih lost the 2023 Maldivian presidential election.
Majeediyya School is the first Maldivian government school, located in Malé, Maldives. It only accepted boys until the introduction of Primary Education in 2010, which allowed girls to attend the school as well. The English medium is followed throughout all subjects, with the exception of Dhivehi and Islam.

Presidential elections were held in the Maldives on Saturday, 9 September 2023, with a second round held on 30 September. Parliamentary elections were held in the Maldives on 21 April 2024, previously scheduled for 17 March 2024. The election date was changed to April after President Mohamed Muizzu ratified election postponement bill by the People's Majlis passed on 28 February. Due to Grade 7, 8 and 9 exams scheduled for 16–27 April clashing with the parliamentary election date, the Ministry of Education decided to bring forward the tests to 27 March–25 April.
