Ali Haidar Ahmed is a Maldivian politician who is the incumbent Minister of Housing,Land and Urban Development. [2]
Haidar obtained his Bachelor in Town and Country Planning from the University of Manchester and his PhD in Planning Studies from the University College London. [3]
Haidar served as the Housing Minister for three months,at the end of Maumoon’s administration. [2] He later endorsed Mohamed Muizzu during the 2021 Malécity Mayor election,he was later appointed as the Minister of Housing,Land and Urban Development in 2023. [3]
