Akaoni Studio S.L. is a Spanish video game developer and publishing company founded in 2009 in Valencia, Spain.

Contents

Its first success, Zombie Panic in Wonderland, has turned Akaoni Studio into one of the first Spanish businesses to publish in Japan by making them number one in sales for WiiWare in the country.

In 2010, Akaoni's studio head, Jose Manuel Iñiguez, was one of the judges present on DSidea. [1]

Crayon Shin-chan, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshito Usui. Crayon Shin-chan made its first appearance in 1990 in a Japanese weekly magazine called Weekly Manga Action, which was published by Futabasha. Deadman Wonderland is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Jinsei Kataoka & Kazuma Kondou, who also wrote and illustrated the Eureka Seven manga, and published in Shōnen Ace since 2008. Tokyopop acquired the licensing rights to distribute the manga in English and released the first 5 volumes of the manga before the company shut down its North American Publishing division in 2011. Viz Media announced that it had licensed the series for English language release in North America on July 7, 2013, and released the first volume on February 11, 2014; new volumes were released every two months thereafter.

Zombie Panic in Wonderland, known in Japan as Zombie in Wonderland, is a frenetic third-person shooter for Wii released in 2007 by Spanish videogame developer Akaoni Studio. Zombie Panic in Wonderland was first released in Japan by Marvelous Entertainment on December 20, 2007, and a demo version was released on November 8, 2007. Soon after, it was released by Akaoni Studio in 2010. An updated version of the game, Zombie Panic in Wonderland Plus, was released on the iTunes App Store for the Apple iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad, and on the Google Play Store for Android devices in 2012, but was since taken down. Another version of the game, Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX, was released for Nintendo 3DS on October 30, 2014, for iOS devices on April 5, 2015, for Nintendo Switch on January 25, 2019, and for Microsoft Windows via Steam on November 6, 2019.

<i>The Wonderland</i> 2019 Japanese film

The Wonderland, known in Japan and the UK as Birthday Wonderland, is a 2019 Japanese animated coming-of-age fantasy adventure film directed by Keiichi Hara. Based on the 1988 children's story Chikashitsu Kara no Fushigi na Tabi by Sachiko Kashiwaba, it stars Mayu Matsuoka, Anne Watanabe and Kumiko Aso. The characters were designed by Ilya Kuvshinov. It premiered in Japan on April 26, 2019, and was screened in competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June 2019. It was the final Japanese film to be released in the Heisei era, five days before the 2019 Japanese imperial transition.
