Akhil Sachdeva is an Indian musician, singer and composer. His song Humsafar was featured in the Bollywood film Badrinath Ki Dulhania. [1] [2]
In 2009, Sachdeva started as the lead vocalist of the Delhi-based music band, Nasha. His Bollywood journey started when he happened to meet Shashank Khaitan, the director of the film, at his friend Huma Qureshi's Eid dinner. His song Tera Ban Jaunga from the film Kabir Singh has garnered a fantastic response worldwide. He is currently managed by Mourjo Chatterjee ( On Stage talents )
He did his Bachelors (with Honours) in Economics from the prestigious Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, University of Delhi.

The Filmfare Award for Best Music Director is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films, to the best composer/arranger of a soundtrack. This category was first presented in 1954. Naushad Ali was the first recipient of this award for his song "Tu Ganga Ki Mauj" from the film Baiju Bawra. For the first two years, it was awarded to the composer for a particular song and not the entire album. From 1956 onwards, awards in this category have been given for the entire soundtrack. From 2017, the name of this was category changed from best music direction to music album.

Bareilly Ki Barfi is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy-drama directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. It is based on Nicolas Barreau's novel, The Ingredients of Love. Harshavardhan Rameshwar composed background music for the film.
