Akshara Singh is an Indian actress who is primarily active in Bhojpuri films and, is a recipient of several awards. [1] [2] Singh is known for her roles in films like action drama Tabadala , political drama Sarkar Raj and action romance Satya . [3] She is considered as one of the highest paid Bhojpuri actress. Career

Singh made her acting debut opposite Ravi Kishan in the 2010 action drama Satyamev Jayate. She subsequently appeared in 2011 family drama Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye. [5] Singh also appeared in the 2016 romantic drama A Balma Bihar Wala opposite Khesari Lal Yadav and in 2017 Action Drama Satya , Tabadla , Maa Tujhe Salaam opposite Pawan Singh.

Singh first appeared in Hindi television in 2015 on Kaala Teeka and Service Wali Bahu on Zee TV. [6] Singh subsequently played the role of Gandhari in the Indian historical epic Suryaputra Karn and Kadika for the historical show Porus on Sony TV. [7]

Singh is considered in the media as one of the most popular and highest paid Bhojpuri actress. [23] [24] She is also one of the most followed Bhojpuri actress on Instagram with over 6.5 million followers. [25] [26]

Singh joined Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj campaign hinting she may contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. [27] She said:

"If it’s in my destiny and I’ll get love and support of people I may contest the poll but only time will tell about this [...] Being a daughter of Bihar, I would love to serve for the betterment and development of the State."

The music of the show is done by Dony½ Hazarika and Udbhav Ojha. it replaced Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi and was replaced by Sethji in its time slot.

Satyameva Jayate 2 is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language vigilante action thriller film written and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri with production by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment. It is a spiritual sequel of the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate and stars John Abraham in a triple role as father and twin sons, alongside Divya Khosla Kumar, Rajeev Pillai and Anup Soni. The release date was postponed due to rise in COVID-19 cases.
