Al Hilal Juba Football Club is a South Sudanese football club located in Juba, South Sudan, which currently plays in the South Sudan Football Championship. [1]
The name Hilāl is the Arabic word for crescent – a name chosen on a night when the crescent of the moon was visible in Omdurman. Also it is the first club in the world to be named (AL- HILAL). This name coming from North Sudan.
Al Hilal Juba was established in 1956 by the Sudanese community in Juba, who were fans of Al Hilal Omdurman. Since then, they have gone onto become one of Juba's strongest clubs and are the reigning South Sudan Cup champions after taking the title in 2017.

Al-Merrikh Sporting Club is a Sudanese football club based in Omdurman. Their home stadium is Al-Merrikh Stadium, which is locally known as The Red Castle. Founded in 1908, Al-Merrikh is one of the oldest football clubs in Africa, and have won the Sudan Premier League 16 times and Sudan Cup 14 times. Al-Merrikh is Arabic for Mars. The club share a fierce rivalry with Al-Hilal, the games between them regularly selling out, as well as being the only other realistic challenger to the league crown. Al-Hilal are also based in Omdurman with only Al-Ardha street separating the teams and between them they are Sudan's most powerful and successful football clubs.
Al-Mourada Sports Club is a Sudanese football club based in Al-Mourada, a suburb of Omdurman. Along with Al-Hilal and Al-Merrikh, they formed the triplet of Sudanese football, but they couldn't continue that legacy. They were one of the strongest teams in Sudan during their strong reign in the top division of the Sudanese football before being relegated to the 2nd division league due to some financial difficulties. Al-Mourada along with Hilal Alsahil are the only two teams who had broken the domination of the Sudanese football by Al-Hilal Omdurman and Elmerrikh SC as the league title was always won by either one of the rivals. Al-Mourada have been crowned as the champions of the Sudanese 1st division which was the top tier of the Sudanese football at that time in the year 1968. Their home stadium is Al-Mourada Stadium located in the Mourada district in Omdurman which is being renovated to coup with the international standards.
Hay Al-Arab Sports Club is a Sudanese football club based in Port Sudan. They play in the top division in Sudanese football, the Sudan Premier League. Their home stadium is Stade Port Sudan. Their rivals is Hilal Al Sahil a team which is in Port Sudan in the same league as Hay Al Arab.

The winner, TP Mazembe qualified for the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup, and also played in the 2011 CAF Super Cup.
Mohamed Ahmed Bashir, also known as Bisha, is a Sudanese footballer who plays for the Sudanese club Al-hilal Omdurman. He plays as a striker and also a winger. He is a member of the Sudan national football team. He was brought from Al-Mourada SC to Al-Hilal in December 2010. After having a good season with Al-Hilal in 2011, he was linked with Leyton Orient and Arsenal. He scored Sudan's first goal in 36 years in the 2012 African Cup Of Nations against Angola in the group B, which ended in a 2–2. He was transferred to the Saudi club Al-Wehda in June 2012. He scored his first goal for Al-Wehda against Al-Ahli in a friendly match, which Al-Wehda won 0–4. Bisha later scored his first league competitive goal for his new side with a shot against the Saudi League champions Al-Shabab, but the team lost 2–5. He has been a fan favourite in Makkah and in Sudan as he scored his national team since playing his trade in Saudi Arabia against Ethiopia, which Sudan won 5–3 in a qualifier match for the 2013 AFCON held in South Africa.
