Al-Jamiatul Asaria Darul Hadees, Mau is an Islamic Educational Institution (Madrasa) located in Mau in eastern Uttar Pradesh which was established in 1954. [1] Besides providing traditional Islamic education, Jamia Asaria has also opened contemporary educational institutions such as Darul Hadees Higher Secondary Boys School, Mau. [2] This institute has produced many Muslim scholars of national and international repute also such as Sheikh Dr. Obaidur Rahman, [3] Sheikh Meraj Rabbani, Salim Ansari, etc.

Sekolah Menengah Sains Muzaffar Syah is the only science school and one of the two fully residential schools in the state of Malacca, Malaysia. Shaikh Basheer Ahmed Muhyiddin

Sheikh Basheer Ahmed Muhuyiddin, Arabic: الشيخ بشير احمد محي الدين) is an Islamic scholar, preacher, and author. He was born in 1937 at his hometown of Paravanna in Malapuram district. He was the third son of the famous scholar and Muslim personality, Paravanna Muhyaddeen Musliyar. He pursued his primary education from Darul Uloom Vazhakkad and at Baqiyath Swalihath,vellur. He pursued his higher education by studying abroad and finished his post graduation at Al-Azhar University, Cairo and then at Elorin University, Nigeria. While working at Darul Ifta of Saudi Arabia, he was appointed as first official of its propagation center to African countries in Nigeria. A significant portion of his life and work was spent translating the Qur'an into three Nigerian languages, Hausa, Yoruba and Ibo, and the English translation “Quran: the Living Truth". Apart from these major contributions, Sheikh Basheer has written numerous Islamic books, notable among which is the Islamic Religious Knowledge series including Quran, Hadeeth, Fiqh and Islamic History. He died on 25 June 2005.

Hafiz Muhammad Shakil Auj TI was a Pakistani Islamic scholar and author. He also served as a professor and dean at Karachi University's faculty of Islamic Studies. During his career, Auj taught at the Karachi University for nineteen years, including heading the Islamic Studies department between 1 February 2012 until his assassination on 18 September 2014 by Al-Qaeda. During this time, Auj authored fifteen books on Islamic studies. Auj had received Tamgha-e-Imtiaz from the President of Pakistan for his contributions to the field of Islamic education. Auj was noted as an Islamic reformist for his liberal interpretation of Islam.

All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat is a federation of various Muslim organisations in India. Majlis-e-Mushawarat was formally launched at a two-day meeting in 1964 at the Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow. Several leading Muslim scholars and clerics, including Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi, attended the meet while freedom fighter and a member in Jawaharlal Nehru's cabinet Syed Mahmud was elected its first president. It was established as an advocacy group in the wake of communal riots in the early 1960s.

Abul Wafa Sanaullah Amritsari was a British Indian, later Pakistani, Muslim scholar and a leading figure within the Ahl-e-Hadith movement who was active in the Punjab city of Amritsar. He was also a major antagonist of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and the early Ahmadiya movement. Sanaullah Amritsari served as the general secretary of Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Hind from 1906 to 1947 and was the editor of the Ahl-e-Hadees, a weekly magazine. Born into a family of Kashmiri descent of sapru clan, he moved to Pakistan at the Partition, losing his son in the process, and himself dying in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan, in 1948, after suffering from a stroke.
