Al Mirqab is owned by Qatar's former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani. [1] The yacht was built at Peters Schiffbau Wewelsfleth yard in Germany. [1] The yacht's architect was Tim Heywood, [2] while the interior design was done by Andrew Winch Designs. [1] During construction, the yacht was known as Project May. [1]
The Al Mirqab was completed in 2008. [3] The yacht has a length of 133 meters and a beam of 19 meters. [2] [4] The summer deadweight of the yacht is 1,440 DWT, while the gross tonnage is 9,518 GT. [4] She is built of steel and can cruise at 21 knots with a maximum speed of 23 knots. [3] The yacht spends most of the year around the Faliro coastal area of Athens, Greece.

Azzam is a private superyacht built by German shipyard Lürssen Yachts. Azzam was launched on 5 April 2013. At 180 metres (590 ft) in length, she is the longest private motor yacht in the world. She has a beam of 20.8 metres (68 ft) and an unusually shallow draft of 4.3 m. The yacht was delivered on 9 September 2013.
Vibrant Curiosity is a megayacht, owned by German entrepreneur Reinhold Würth. Black Pearl is a sailing yacht launched in 2016, which is 106.7 meters (350.1 ft) in length. It has three DynaRig masts supporting a sail area of 2,900 square meters (31,215 sq ft). The yacht was known during its build process originally as Oceanco Y712 and thereafter as "Project Solar". The hull is steel, the superstructure aluminum, and the masts carbon fiber. The yacht is owned by the family of Russian billionaire Oleg Burlakov, who died in 2021.
