Alane Felsinger (born 10 July 1937) is a former Sri Lankan cricket umpire. He stood in one Test match, Sri Lanka vs. Pakistan in 1986. [1] His brother Herbi was also an international umpire for Sri Lanka. [2]

The first Asian Test Championship, organized by the Asian Cricket Council was held between 16 February and 16 March 1999. India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka competed in the tournament; Bangladesh could not compete because the ICC had not granted them Test status. The 2009 attack on the Sri Lanka national cricket team occurred on 3 March 2009, when a bus carrying Sri Lankan cricketers, part of a larger convoy, was fired upon by 12 gunmen near Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan. The cricketers were on their way to play the third day of the second Test against the Pakistani cricket team. Six members of the Sri Lanka national cricket team were wounded and six Pakistani policemen and two civilians were killed.

Herbi Felsinger was a Sri Lankan cricket umpire. The 17 international fixtures he officiated in included six Test matches between 1982 and 1986 and eleven ODI games between 1982 and 1986. He also stood in Sri Lanka's first Test match in February 1982.

The Sri Lanka cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates in September and October 2017 to play two Tests, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against the Pakistan cricket team. The tour included the first Tests that Sarfaraz Ahmed of Pakistan captained following the retirement of Misbah-ul-Haq. The tour also featured a T20I match in Pakistan, the first time that Sri Lanka had visited the country since 2009.

Warnakolasooriya Rose Priyanka Dovey is a Sri Lankan former cricketer and current cricket umpire. Her main claim to fame was her bowling and she played primarily as a right-arm off break bowler. She appeared in one Test match, 37 One Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals for Sri Lanka women's cricket team between 1997 and 2010.
