Alasin Media Oy is a Finnish media industry company, founded in the year 2004, that produces communication to different media and translation services. [2] Alasin Media operates and is headquartered in Tampere, Finland. [3] Mikko-Heikki Heinonen acts as CEO, Ville-Veikko Heinonen as chairman.
To the single Finnish consumer, works by Alasin Media can be seen e.g. in Nokian Tyres promotional material. The company is also active on the internet as the producer of the websites V2.fi and Keskiarvo.net. [4] Alasin Media was the content provider of the website Peliplaneetta.net for over five years, until the beginning of year 2007.
The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school. The original band members were Lauri Ylönen, Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Jarno Lahti left the year after and was replaced by Janne Heiskanen in 1995. Heiskanen quit the band in 1999 and was soon replaced by Aki Hakala. Pauli Rantasalmi left the band and was replaced by guitarist Emilia "Emppu" Suhonen in 2022. Best known for their 2003 hit single "In the Shadows", the band has sold 5 million albums worldwide and approximately 350,000 albums in Finland alone, and has won numerous awards, both domestic and international. The band represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Jezebel".

The Harakka was a primary glider produced for pilot training in Finland in the 1940s. Its design was typical of this class of aircraft, a "keel" with a pilot's seat suspended beneath a high, strut-braced monoplane wing, and carrying a conventional empennage at the end of an open framework. First flown in February 1945, the type was built from plans by Finnish gliding clubs and soon replaced earlier primary gliders such as the Grunau 9, becoming a standard piece of equipment in the clubs.
