History

AlbertMing was founded by Albert Shyy and Ming Chang in 2010. [2] They were close friends growing up in Florida and attended the same high school. [3] Both of them are UC Berkeley graduates. [4] [3] Shyy studied business and was a managerial consultant before 2010. Chang studied computer science and had worked as an Apple engineer. [2]

Product

Naked Suits by AlbertMing or simply Naked Suits are the company's first line of product. They are water-resistant and could be ordered either off-the rack or made-to-measure. The product name is intended to convey the expectation that the suits are so comfortable, the wearer would not even realize that they are wearing a suit. [4] Shyy and Chang wanted to "reclaim" men's suit by making it more durable and "less miserable" using modern technology. [2]

Promotion

Naked Suits was promoted by numerous artists including Chuck D [5] [6] and Tim Urban. [1]

Anti-fog agents, also known as anti-fogging agents and treatments, are chemicals that prevent the condensation of water in the form of small droplets on a surface which resemble fog. Anti-fog treatments were first developed by NASA during Project Gemini, and are now often used on transparent glass or plastic surfaces used in optical applications, such as the lenses and mirrors found in glasses, goggles, camera lenses, and binoculars. The treatments work by minimizing surface tension, resulting in a non-scattering film of water instead of single droplets. This works by altering the degree of wetting. Anti-fog treatments usually work either by application of a surfactant film, or by creating a hydrophilic surface.
