Norman Hackerman was an American chemist,professor,and academic administrator who served as the 18th President of the University of Texas at Austin (1967–1970) and later as the 4th President of Rice University (1970–1985). He was an internationally known expert in metal corrosion.
Concordia University is an English-language public research university located in Montreal,Quebec,Canada. Founded in 1974 following the merger of Loyola College and Sir George Williams University,Concordia is one of the three universities in Quebec where English is the primary language of instruction. As of the 2021–22 academic year,there were 51,694 students enrolled in credit and non-credit courses at Concordia,making the university among the largest in Canada by enrolment. Concordia Seminary is a Lutheran seminary in Clayton,Missouri. The institution's primary mission is to train pastors,deaconesses,missionaries,chaplains,and church leaders for the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS). Founded in 1839,the seminary initially resided in Perry County,Missouri. In 1849,it was moved to St. Louis,and in 1926,the current campus was built.
Jehuda Reinharz served as President of Brandeis University from 1994–2010. He is currently the Richard Koret Professor of Modern Jewish History and Director of the Tauber Institute for the Study of European Jewry at Brandeis. He is also the president and CEO of the Jack,Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation. On September 25,2009,Reinharz announced his retirement as President of Brandeis,but at the request of the Board of Trustees,he stayed on until a replacement could be hired. On January 1,2011,Reinharz became president and CEO of the Jack,Joseph,and Morton Mandel Foundation.
Arthur Meier Schlesinger Jr. was an American historian,social critic,and public intellectual. The son of the influential historian Arthur M. Schlesinger Sr. and a specialist in American history,much of Schlesinger's work explored the history of 20th-century American liberalism. In particular,his work focused on leaders such as Harry S. Truman,Franklin D. Roosevelt,John F. Kennedy,and Robert F. Kennedy. In the 1952 and 1956 presidential campaigns,he was a primary speechwriter and adviser to the Democratic presidential nominee,Adlai Stevenson II. Schlesinger served as special assistant and "court historian" to President Kennedy from 1961 to 1963. He wrote a detailed account of the Kennedy administration,from the 1960 presidential campaign to the president's state funeral,titled A Thousand Days:John F. Kennedy in the White House,which won the 1966 Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography.
Earl Lewis is the founding director of the Center for Social Solutions and professor of history at the University of Michigan. He was president of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation from 2013 to 2018. Before his appointment as the president of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation,Lewis served for over eight years as Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and as the Asa Griggs Candler Professor of History and African American Studies at Emory University. He was the university's first African-American provost and at the time the highest-ranking African-American administrator in the university's history.

Albert Charles Jacobs served as the eleventh chancellor for University of Denver from 1949 to 1953. During his tenure of office,the student body increased in terms of both quantity and quality,admission standards were raised and new facilities were created. Jacobs was born on May 21,1900,in Birmingham,Michigan. In 1921 he received his degree from the University of Michigan. That same year he entered Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. From Oxford he earned his Bachelor of Civil Law and his Master of Arts degrees. In 1927,Jacobs joined the faculty of law at Columbia University specializing in property and family law. After World War II he returned to Columbia to accept the post of assistant to the president for administrative affairs. He was elected provost for the university a year later. Jacobs was a law professor and administrator at Columbia for twenty-five years. He became chancellor of University of Denver beginning in 1949. In 1953 Jacobs left the University of Denver to accept the position of president of Trinity College in Hartford,Connecticut,where he worked until 1968. After his retirement he served as president of the University of Michigan Emeritus Club from 1973 to 1974. Jacobs died on October 29,1976.

Joan Huber is an American sociologist and professor emeritus of sociology at Ohio State University. Huber served as the 79th president of the American Sociological Association in 1989. Huber taught at the University of Notre Dame from 1967 to 1971,eventually moving to Illinois,where she taught at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. While instructing numerous sociology courses at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign,Huber served as the director of Women's Studies Program for two years (1978–1980),and then became the head of the Department of Sociology in 1979 until 1983. In 1984,Huber left Illinois for an opportunity at the Ohio State University,where she became the dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences,coordinating dean of the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences,and senior vice president for academic affairs and university provost. During her time,Huber was president of Sociologists for Women in Society from 1972–1974,the Midwest Sociological Society from 1979–1980,and the American Sociological Association from 1988–1989. Being highly recognized for her excellence,in 1985 Huber was given the Jessie Bernard Award by the American Sociological Association. Not only was Huber an instructor of sociology at multiple institutions or president of different organization,she also served different editorial review boards,research committees,and counseled and directed many institutions on their sociology departments.
James E. Lyons,Sr. is an American academic administrator who has served as president of several historically black colleges and universities. He is a former president of Bowie State University,Jackson State University,and California State University,Dominguez Hills. Lyons was interim president of Dillard University,University of the District of Columbia,and Concordia College Alabama. He was a secretary of the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
Robert V. Schnabel was an American academic administrator who served as the 16th President of Valparaiso University from 1978 to 1988. He had previously served as President of Concordia College in Bronxville,New York,from 1971 to 1976.
