Albert Kim is an American television writer and producer. He is the creator, showrunner, and executive producer of the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix. [1] [2] Previously, he was the executive producer and co-showrunner of the 20th Century Fox Television drama Sleepy Hollow . He has also written for and produced the shows Pantheon , Nikita , Leverage , and Dirt .

To promote diversity in the media, Kim has worked with CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment), [10] AAJA (Asian American Journalists Association), [11] [12] [13] and AAWW (Asian American Writers' Workshop). In 2001, he created a sportswriting internship program in conjunction with the AP Sports Editors to encourage minority college students to pursue careers in sports journalism. [4] [14]
