WXTB Active rock radio station in Clearwater, Florida, United States

WXTB is a commercial active rock radio station licensed to Clearwater, Florida, serving the Tampa Bay Area. Owned by iHeartMedia, WXTB serves as the local affiliate for Skratch 'N Sniff, as well as the flagship station of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The WXTB studios are located in South Tampa, while the station transmitter resides in Holiday. In addition to a standard analog transmission, WXTB broadcasts over two HD Radio channels, and is available online via iHeartRadio.

WOMX-FM is a commercial radio station licensed to Orlando, Florida. The station is owned by Audacy, Inc. and airs a hot adult contemporary radio format known as Mix 105.1. WOMX-FM's studios and offices are located on Pembrook Drive in Maitland and the transmitter tower is off Fort Christmas Road in Bithlo. The transmitter is shared with WRUM, WJRR and WTKS-FM.

Fairfield County Sheriffs Department (Connecticut)

The Fairfield County Sheriff's Department was a law enforcement agency in Fairfield County, Connecticut, established under the original Constitution of the State of Connecticut. Initially, the Department of Administrative Services was responsible for administering the testing process for special deputy sheriffs However, in December 2000, legislators replaced the sheriffs with the State Marshal Commission under the Department of Administrative Services. The State Marshal Commission was created by Public Act 00-99, in 2000. On November 29, 2000, a constitutional amendment repealed the portion regarding sheriffs. Presently, the 2009 version of the State of Connecticut Constitution does not make a reference to Marshals, and continues to list sheriffs as this role.

Yafa Yarkoni was an Israeli singer, winner of the Israel Prize in 1998 for Hebrew song. She was dubbed Israel's "songstress of the wars" due to her frequent performances for Israel Defense Forces soldiers, especially in wartime. She was from a Mountain Jewish family.

Pasqual Coco is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball. Coco pitched parts of three seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays from 2000 to 2002.

John F. MacLean was a Major League Baseball announcer for the Washington Senators from 1961–1968 and the Boston Red Sox in 1972. He left the Red Sox radio broadcast crew in June 1972 due to illness. He died on September 13, 1973 following open-heart surgery.

Efraim Margolin is an Israeli-American businessman and philanthropist, founder of Margolin Consultants Inc, an employment and Merger and Acquisitions Company in New York City. He is a native of Ukraine, who immigrated to Palestine when he was a small child. Growing up with a father who was a local leader of the Haganah Jewish Underground Militia, he became one of the young engineers during World War II working for the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company in Iran and later, as Manager in Bahrain Island constructing an airport for the British Air Force. Later he came to America for advanced engineering studies at Columbia University marrying his American sweetheart and ended up serving as a secret agent for the Mossad, the Israeli Undercover Agency, outfitting torpedo boats for the Israeli Navy. After the 1948 War, he was in charge of building the New City of Beer Sheva in the Negev Desert.
