Albin Felc (born May 14, 1941) [1] is a retired Slovenian professional ice hockey player.
In 1958, Felc made his debut in the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League with HK Jesenice. He scored 458 goals in the Yugoslav League, which was the league record until in 1971. Felc also played for teams in Italy and Switzerland. He retired after playing with HK Celje in 1982.
He represented the Yugoslavia national ice hockey team from 1961–1979, and scored 82 goals and 91 assists in 155 games. Felc participated with Yugoslavia at the Winter Olympics in 1964, 1968, and 1972.
In 1983, HK Jesenice named Felc their head coach.
Anže Kopitar is a Slovenian professional ice hockey centre and captain of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). The 11th overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Kopitar became the first Slovene to play in the NHL upon making his debut in 2006. Kopitar has spent his entire NHL career with the Kings, has led the team in scoring in all but two seasons and is fourth in franchise history in points, goals, and assists, scoring his 1,000th career point in 2021. Following the 2015–16 season, he was named the Kings' captain. Noted for both his offensive and defensive play, Kopitar was awarded the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the best defensive forward in the NHL in 2016, as well as the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for gentlemanly play the same year. He won the Selke Trophy a second time in 2018.
Rumun Ndur is a Nigerian-born Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Ndur played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Buffalo Sabres, the New York Rangers, and the Atlanta Thrashers. Ndur was the first Nigerian-born player to play in the NHL. He was born in Nigeria but grew up in Hearst, Ontario.
Hokejski klub Acroni Jesenice, commonly referred to as HK Acroni Jesenice or simply Jesenice, was a Slovenian ice hockey team from Jesenice that last played in the Austrian Erste Bank Hockey League and the Slovenian Ice Hockey League. They played their home games at the Podmežakla Hall. Throughout its history, the club was regarded as one of the most successful clubs in Slovenian and Yugoslav ice hockey. In September 2012, the club filed for bankruptcy and was dissolved.
The Alpenliga was an international professional ice hockey league which existed between 1991 and 1999. It was contested by club teams from Austria, Italy and Slovenia.
Robert Kristan is a Slovenian professional goaltender who currently plays for HK Olimpija in the Alps Hockey League.
Rudolf Hiti is a retired Slovenian ice hockey player and coach. In Slovenia he played for HK Kranjska Gora, HK Acroni Jesenice and HDD Olimpija Ljubljana, winning the Yugoslav league four times. Later he played in Italy, winning the Italian league three times with HC Bolzano, where his #13 jersey was retired. He played at 17 World Championships for Yugoslavia, which is a world record, and two Olympic Games. In 1970 he was close to signing for NHL club Chicago Blackhawks, but an injury on the first friendly game for Blackhawks prevented him from signing the contract. On 5 May 2009 he was introduced to the IIHF Hall of Fame as the second Slovene.

Seamus Kotyk is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former professional goaltender. Kotyk played professionally for the Cleveland Barons, Milwaukee Admirals and Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL). He also played in the Austrian Hockey League for HK Acroni Jesenice and HC TWK Innsbruck. Kotyk is currently the goal tending development coach for the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL.
Klemen "Klem" Mohorič is a retired Slovenian professional ice hockey goaltender. He spent the majority of his career with the HDD Olimpija Ljubljana of the Slovenian Ice Hockey Championship.
