Stefano Chuka Okaka is an Italian former footballer who played as a forward.

Francesco Stefano Antonioli is an Italian former footballer who played as goalkeeper. He was the oldest footballer in Serie A until his club Cesena were relegated to Serie B at the end of the 2011–12 season, after which he retired from professional football. Antonioli began his club career with Monza and played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, winning titles with AC Milan, Bologna and Roma. Despite never being capped at senior international level, he was an unused member of the Italy squad that took part at Euro 2000, reaching the final. At youth level, he represented Italy at the 1992 Summer Olympics.

The 2006–07 Serie A was the 105th season of top-tier Italian football, the 75th in a round-robin tournament. It was scheduled to begin on 26 and 27 August but was postponed to 2 September 2006 due to the Calciopoli scandal, which led to the absence of Juventus. On 22 April 2007, Internazionale became Serie A champions after defeating Siena, as Roma's loss to Atalanta left Inter with a 16-point advantage with five matches to play.
Max Tonetto is a retired Italian footballer who played as a midfielder. A versatile naturally left-footed player, his preferred position was on the left flank in midfield, although he was often used as a left-back, and could also play as a left wing-back. He played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, most notably Roma, where he won consecutive Coppa Italia titles in 2007 and 2008 during his four seasons with the team.

The 1993–94 Serie A was won by Milan, being the 14th title for the rossoneri and their third in succession, complemented by glory in the UEFA Champions League. It was a disappointing season in the league for Internazionale, whose 13th-place finish saw them avoid relegation by a single point, but they compensated for this by winning the UEFA Cup. Piacenza, Udinese, Atalanta and Lecce were all relegated. Milan won the Scudetto during the penultimate match against Udinese. AC Milan also set an unprecedented record for securing the title by scoring just 36 goals, the lowest in Serie A history.
The 1990-91 season saw Sampdoria win the Serie A title for the first time in their history, finishing five points ahead of second placed Milan. Third placed Internazionale were victorious in the UEFA Cup, with ninth-placed Roma compensating for their sub-standard league season with glory in the Coppa Italia, while Juventus's seventh-placed finish meant that they would be without European action for the first season in three decades. Lecce, Pisa, Cesena and Bologna were all relegated.

Unione Calcio Sampdoria bounced back from a disappointing season the year before, and scored the most goals of all teams on its way to third in Serie A. It also won Coppa Italia following a furious second-half offensive against Ancona, winning both the match and on aggregate with a commanding 6–1.
Parma Associazione Calcio played its third consecutive season in Serie A, and had arguably its best ever season, even when considering its glorious years in the late 1990s. It finished third in the domestic league competition and won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup following a 3–1 final victory against Royal Antwerp.
AC Milan had a second consecutive disastrous season. Fabio Capello returned as coach, following the dismal second half of the 1996–97 league campaign, but failed to turn the corner, and Milan was a shadow of the team he had left the year before. With Capello's reputation seemingly ruined, he was sacked at the end of the season, with Milan finishing a mere 10th in the league.
