The Toronto Rock are a Canadian professional box lacrosse franchise based in Hamilton, Ontario. They are members of the Eastern Conference of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The team was the first Canadian franchise in the NLL. Oakville resident Jamie Dawick is the current owner of the Rock, purchasing the team after the 2009 season. Since 2014, Dawick has also served as their general manager. The Rock play their home games at FirstOntario Centre.

Ryan Benesch is a Canadian professional lacrosse player who plays for the Halifax Thunderbirds in the National Lacrosse League. Benesch has also played for the Albany FireWolves, Colorado Mammoth, Buffalo Bandits, Minnesota Swarm, Edmonton Rush, Toronto Rock, and Panther City LC and was the 2011 NLL scoring leader. Benesch was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
Kasey Beirnes is a Canadian former professional lacrosse player in the National Lacrosse League. He was drafted in the third round, the 28th overall pick, by the Columbus Landsharks. He retired after 16 seasons. He played for the Columbus Landsharks, Arizona Sting, Minnesota Swarm and Toronto Rock.
Ryan Ward is a former lacrosse player in the National Lacrosse League. Ward played 11 seasons in the NLL with the Philadelphia Wings, Minnesota Swarm, and Edmonton Rush. He retired after the 2014 season.
Craig Point, is an Iroquois lacrosse player who currently plays for the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League and the Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse. He was born in Ohsweken, Ontario, and comes from the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation.
The 2012 National Lacrosse League season, the 26th in the history of the NLL, began on January 8, 2012 and ended with the Championship game on May 19, 2012. The Rochester Knighthawks won their third NLL Championship, and first-ever in Rochester, defeating the Edmonton Rush 9-6 in the final game.
The 2013 National Lacrosse League season, the 27th in the history of the NLL, began on January 5, 2013 and ended with the Championship game on May 11, 2013. The Rochester Knighthawks overcame a mediocre 8-8 season to get hot in the playoffs for the second straight year, defeating the Philadelphia Wings, Minnesota Swarm, and Washington Stealth to win their second straight Championship. The Knighthawks became the first team to repeat as NLL Champions since the 2002-2003 Toronto Rock.
Johnny Powless is an Iroquois professional lacrosse player. Powless currently plays for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League and the Oakville Rock of Major Series Lacrosse. Powless won NLL Championships in each of his first three seasons, and has also won two Mann Cups with the Chiefs.
Joe Resetarits is a professional lacrosse player for the Philadelphia Wings. A native of Hamburg, New York, Resetarits was a lacrosse standout at Hamburg High School before attending the University at Albany, where he was selected as the American East Conference Player of the Year and received an All-American honorable mention while rooming with Franklin Delanor Romanowski and Lomez.
Rory Smith is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Vancouver Warriors of the National Lacrosse League and the Victoria Shamrocks of Western Lacrosse Association. Smith is known as an enforcer, and has racked up over 1,000 career penalty minutes during his amateur and professional career. His 104 penalty minutes with Orlando in 2010 is the record for most penalty minutes in a single season in NLL history.
Zachary "Zach" Higgins is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League and the Brooklin Redmen of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Courtice, Ontario, Higgins began his Canadian amateur career with the Jr. B Clarington Green Gaels, where he won his league's Goaltender of the Year Award in 2007 and 2008. He moved up to the Jr. A Whitby Warriors, where he won a Minto Cup as the team's starter in 2011. He made his MSL debut with the Redmen in 2012. Higgins attended Courtice Secondary School, and went on to play lacrosse at Davenport University, where he was a two-time first team all-CCLA award winner.
Jordan Houtby is a professional lacrosse player with the Georgia Swarm of the National Lacrosse League and the Brooklin Redmen of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from St. Catharines, Ontario, Houtby began his Canadian amateur career with the Jr. B St. Catharines Spartans before being called up to the Jr. A St. Catharines Athletics. He played for the Athletics through 2012, when he was traded to the Whitby Warriors for their playoff run. Houtby was drafted 22nd overall in the 2013 MSL Draft by the Brooklin Redmen, and made his debut for the Redmen that summer. Houtby attended Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School in St. Catharines, with whom he won regional championships in 2007 and 2008, and went on to play lacrosse at the Detroit Titans, where he was named MAAC Long Stick Midfield Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
Wesley Berg is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and Redwoods Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL).
Robert Church is a professional lacrosse player for the Saskatchewan Rush in the National Lacrosse League.
Evan Kirk, is a Canadian professional lacrosse goaltender in the National Lacrosse League, currently playing for the Rochester Knighthawks and for the Peterborough Lakers of the Major Series Lacrosse. He was a member of Team Canada during the 2010 World Lacrosse Championship.
Mitchell "Mitch" de Snoo is a professional lacrosse player for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League and the Oakville Rock of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Oshawa, Ontario, de Snoo attended Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School, where he played four years of lacrosse and ice hockey.
Justin Martin is a professional lacrosse player for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and the Oakville Rock of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Oakville, Ontario, Martin began his junior lacrosse career in 2013 with the Junior B Oakville Buzz. In 2015, he moved up to Junior A with the Burlington Chiefs. He played collegiality at the University of Guelph, where he was named to the 2015 Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association All-Canadian team.
Ethan O'Connor is a professional lacrosse player for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and the Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse. Born in Milton, Ontario, O'Connor began his minor lacrosse career playing for the Milton Mavericks. He was drafted in the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse Draft to the Burlington Chiefs where was named a two time team captain and earned First Team All League honors for his final season. During his junior career, O'Connor also played for the Oakville Buzz and Halton Hills Bulldogs of the OLA Junior B Lacrosse League. O'Connor was drafted in the first round of the 2013 NLL Entry Draft by the Toronto Rock, playing in all but one game his rookie season. After one season with the Rock, he was traded to the Minnesota Swarm where he was a contributing member of their 2017 NLL Championship winning team. Prior to the 2018-19 season, O'Connor was traded to his current team, the Bandits. O'Connor also played division one lacrosse for Hobart College.
