Alex Healy (born January 15, 1989) is a Canadian Touring Car racing driver.
After a successful stint in karting in Ottawa (NCKC), Montreal (SRA) and in the Florida Winter Tour (SRA, 2005–2008) Healy began car racing in the Canadian Touring Car Championship in 2008 in a shared car, a 2003 Honda Civic coupe, in the Touring Car class. At the end of the 2008 season, Alex purchased, with help from family and friends, a much faster 2003 Acura RSX from CTCC Super Touring Champions (2008) Krikorian Motorsports, originally built by King Motorsports as a World Speed Challenge car. [1] In 2009, Alex moved up to the Super Touring Class. He finished the eight-event season in the RSX with 2 second-place finishes, and earning 7th overall in the Championship.
Inside Track Motorsports News named Alex Healy, as voted by readers in its annual Readers' Choice Awards, as Up and Coming Canadian Road Racer of the Year for 2009. [2]
In 2010, Alex signed with Lombardi Racing of Montreal and raced in the Super Touring class in a four-door Honda SI for the first two events at Mosport finishing 7th in both events. In June 2010, Alex Healy Racing announced that Alex was parting company with Lombardi on a friendly basis to return to compete in his RSX for the remaining 2010 CTCC events.
Healy returned to CTCC series in 2011 in his redesigned and upgraded RSX, and completed six of the seven scheduled events. Unfortunately, the RSX encountered many mechanical issues throughout the 2011 season, including two transmissions and an engine failure. This resulted in a high number of DNFs. He finished the series in 8th place overall.
In 2012, Alex Healy appointed a new crew and received increased support from his main sponsor. The RSX had a significant power train upgrade with major improvement to aerodynamics, expecting to see improved handling, performance and reliability. Healy returned to the CTCC series with sufficient funding to compete for the entire season of 8 events (16 races).
In 2013, Healy spent the pre-season doing a complete re-build of his RSX- including a new power train and revamped support systems. He completed 6 of 7 race weekends and reached the podium on five of the weekends, resulting in an overall 4th in the CTCC Super Touring championship. 2013 was his most successful season in touring car racing.
In 2014, Alex Healy tested a car for the Porche Cup series and competed in the Canadian National Karting Championships in Mont Tremblant, QC. Starting 5th on the grid of the Briggs & Stratton senior class final, he had to settle for a 14th-place finish after being hit from behind early in the race.
In 2015 Alex sold his Acura RSX to an American former pro racer based in Pennsylvania. He is taking a break from competitive racing by competing with the GASTops Chumps for Charity team and doing selected Karting events.
In 2015-2019 Alex Healy Racing (Alex Healy, Pierre Clavet, Jean-Mi Isabelle and Tyler Givogue) competed in the annual Pole Position 4-Hour Enduro at Kart-O-Mania in Montreal, winning the prestigious event in 2019 and reaching the podium in three previous events.
Alex is the co-founder and President of RH Precision Unmanned, a Aerial Mapping & Surveying, Thermographic Inspections, and Building Sciences firm. RH Precision employs state-of-the-art drones for engineering projects throughout Ontario and Quebec.

Acura is the luxury and performance division of Japanese automaker Honda, based primarily in North America. The brand was launched on March 27, 1986, marketing luxury and performance automobiles. Acura sells cars in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, and Kuwait. The company has also previously sold cars in China, Hong Kong, Russia, and Ukraine. Plans to introduce Acura to the Japanese domestic market in the late 2000s did not eventuate due to the financial crisis of 2007–2008.
The fourth-generation Honda Integra, produced by Honda, was introduced in Japan on 13 April 2001, and produced from July 2001 until August 2006. It was introduced in North America on 2 July 2001 as the Acura RSX, the name a part of Acura's naming scheme changing the names of its models from recognizable names like "Integra" or "Legend" to alphabetical designations in order for buyers to build more recognition to the marque, and not the individual cars.
Tiago Vagaroso da Costa Monteiro is a Portuguese professional racing driver currently competing in the World Touring Car Cup, driving a Honda Civic TCR for Engstler Motorsport. He competed in Formula One between 2005 and 2006 for the Jordan Grand Prix, Midland and Spyker MF1 teams – all different iterations of the same team as it was bought by new owners during a two-year stint as part of the Formula One paddock. Michael James Lewis is an American race car driver born on December 24, 1990, in Laguna Beach, California to parents Steve Lewis and Loretta Lewis. As a young, up-and-coming Race Car Driver, Michael has competed in a diverse number of racing vehicles including Formula 3, Formula BMW, Ford Focus Midgets, Touring Cars, Late Model Stock Cars, Quarter Midgets, & Go-Karts. Michael also officially tested a Formula One car for Scuderia Ferrari F1 in the F60 chassis on November 15, 2011. Michael's passion for racing is paramount and he enjoys every aspect of his racing career. The Laguna Beach, California native is known for his professionalism, work ethic, and he lives every day for motorsport.
Peter "P.D." Cunningham is an American race car driver and owner of RealTime R&L, Inc., based in Saukville, Wisconsin and currently competing in the Pirelli World Challenge GT Championship. His name and his team, RealTime Racing, have become synonymous with the Honda and Acura brands. Through 2013, he has claimed 91 professional race wins across 12 different North American road racing series and holds numerous World Challenge records.
Josep "Pepe" Oriola Vila is a Spanish racing driver. He became the youngest driver to race in the World Touring Car Championship when he competed in the 2011 season. Oriola is not only the youngest driver to start a WTCC race at the age of 16, he’s also the youngest to be on the podium and to have won a race. Feats he achieved in Brazil in 2011 and Morocco in 2013 respectively. His record of being the youngest driver ever to compete, score championship points and win a race in the prestigious WTCC remains to this day. In 2018 he competed in the World Touring Car Cup and finish 6th in a close title fight till the last rounds in Macau. In 2019 he switches from factory driver of CUPRA to Hyundai Motorsport. Oriola also won the 1st ever 24h race of only TCR Cars in Spa Francorchamps in 2019 with the team Red Camel-Jordans. He is part of the team Changan Ford in China Touring Car Championship CTCC where in 2019 won 3 races.
Ryan A. Eversley is an American professional auto racing driver. Since 2015, Eversley has been a Honda factory driver who primarily races in sports car racing championships such as the Michelin Pilot Challenge and Pirelli World Challenge. He won the 2018 PWC TCR championship.
Alex Fontana is a Swiss racing driver of Greek descent, currently racing as a professional driver in the GT4 European Series for Centri Porsche Ticino. He is a freelance driver with an open contract able to race for different teams and different manufacturers at the same time. When he is not racing, he works as a coach and driving instructor in Europe, America, and China, while commentating the Formula 1 Grands Prix for Swiss television with RSI.
RealTime Racing is an American professional motorsports team founded in 1987 by Peter Cunningham and headquartered in Saukville, just north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On gravel roads, frozen lakes, permanent road courses, or temporary street circuits, RealTime drivers have piloted Acura and Honda production-based automobiles to 18 professional titles in a variety of motorsports series.
Tom Ingram is a British racing driver, currently racing in the British Touring Car Championship. Having won the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2010 and the G50 class of the Ginetta GT Supercup in 2011, Ingram was named a British Racing Drivers' Club Rising Star in 2011. He won his first BTCC race at the first round of the 2016 season at Brands Hatch. Ingram is the 2022 British Touring Car champion.
JAS Motorsport is an Italian motor racing team and an engineering and manufacturing company. It was founded in 1995 by Paolo Jasson, Maurizio Ambrogetti and Giorgio Schon. The company initially competed with Alfa Romeo in 1996 and 1997. Since 1998, they have been an official partner of Honda, and have developed, built and raced cars in various different disciplines for the Japanese manufacturer, as well as provided customer racing services.
Nobuharu Matsushita is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in Super GT and Super Formula for Real Racing, and B-Max Racing.
Trenton Estep is an American professional racing driver. Estep grew up racing karts from the age of 4 years old in New Braunfels, Texas. He competed in various karting competitions such as SKUSA Pro Tour, Florida Winter Tour, US Open and Rotax Grand Finals in Portugal. In 2016 he made the transition from karts to open wheel cars. He entered the Formula Tour F1600, Canadian F1600 Super Series and F1600 Championship Series winning two Championships. He also ran in the opening round of the Redbull Global Rallycross Championship in Phoenix Arizona. In 2017 Estep made his transition from open wheel to cars in the North American Porsche GT3 Cup Series, with JDX Racing. Estep finished on podium 11 of 16 races with multiple wins placing 3rd in the Porsche GT3 Cup Championship. In 2018 he returned to the Porsche GT3 Cup series with JDX Racing with renewed sponsorship by Hertz Global along with a new sponsor Byers Porsche of Columbus Ohio. Estep went on to finish on Podium in 14 of 16 races winning the 2018 IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Championship. A final honor to end his season was being chosen by Porsche Motorsports to attend the Porsche Junior Programme Shootout in Le Castellet at Circuit Paul Ricard. Estep was only 1 of 11 and the youngest at age 18 of the top Porsche drivers from all over the world under the age of 25 to receive the exclusive invite. At the end of the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup North America season Trenton was chosen by Porsche Motorsport North America as a "Porsche Selected Driver" for 2023. Starting in 2019 through present Trenton is a professional driver coach and driver for MDK Motorsports based in Pataskala Ohio.
Samuel Hsieh is a Hong Kong touring car racing driver. He is currently competing in TCR China for Teamwork Motorsport in a Volkswagen Golf GTi TCR.
