In the second of the Eurovision semi-finals "A Monster Like Me" placed fourth out of the 17 participating countries, securing its place among the 27 other songs in the final. In Norway's fifty-fourth Eurovision appearance on 23 May, "A Monster Like Me" finished in eighth place, receiving 102 points.
