Alexandre Rouleau (born July 29, 1983) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Former General Manager of major junior team in which he played, the Val-d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He is currently amateur scout for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Playing career

Rouleau was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. After spending four years between the ECHL and the AHL, Rouleau headed to Europe to play for Briançon of France's Ligue Magnus.

After a season with Briançon, Rouleau joined Brûleurs de Loups in 2008. [1] Rouleau was named Alternate Captain for Brûleurs de Loups during the 2010–11 and 2011-12 seasons. Rouleau competed in the 2012 IIHF World Championship as a member of the France men's national ice hockey team.

After being in negotiations with Västerås and agreeing to a contract on April 17, 2012, [2] Rouleau retired from professional hockey on August 10, 2012 to become a general manager of the Val-d'Or Foreurs of the QMJHL, [3] the team that Rouleau played for from 2000 until 2003. [4]

The 2006–07 QMJHL season was the 38th season in the history of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The regular season ran from September 14, 2006 to March 18, 2007. Eighteen teams played 70 games each in the schedule. The Lewiston Maineiacs finished first overall in the regular season winning their first Jean Rougeau Trophy. Lewiston won 16 playoff games, losing only one, en route to their first President's Cup, defeating the Val-d'Or Foreurs in the finals.

Kristopher Joseph Pierre Irwin Letang is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and alternate captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nicknamed Tanger he played juniors in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) for three seasons, during which time he was selected 62nd overall by the Penguins in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. In his second full NHL season, Letang won the 2009 Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh. He became a two-time Stanley Cup champion when the Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks in 2016, and a three-time Stanley Cup champion when the Penguins defeated the Nashville Predators in 2017. Philippe Bozon is a former French professional ice hockey player who played for the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League (NHL) between the 1991–92 and 1994-95 seasons.
