Alexandru Oancea (born 12 January 1937) is a Romanian bobsledder. He competed in the two-man event at the 1964 Winter Olympics. [1]
Alexandru Buligan is a retired Romanian handball goalkeeper who played a record of 280 international games for Romania. He won bronze medals at the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1990 World Championships.
Alexandru Fölker is a retired Romanian handball player. He competed at the 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics and won one silver and two bronze medals. In 1989 he immigrated to Germany, where he managed the Bundesliga team MT Melsungen.

Alexandru "Dudu" Frim was a Romanian bobsledder who competed in the 1930s. He won the gold medal in the two-man event at the 1934 FIBT World Championships. He also finished 15th in the two-man event at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Frim was also an aviator, earning his pilot license in 1931. Frim also won the Grand Prix of Sports Aviation and Cup of Brasov Aero-Club in 1939. Frim later participated in World War II as a pilot for Romania.
The Văcăroiu Cabinet was the 111th cabinet of Romania between 1992 and 1996, led by Nicolae Văcăroiu. After the 1992 general elections, when FDSN obtained 27.75% of the votes in the Chamber of Deputies, and 28.31% in the Senate, the reelected President, Ion Iliescu, nominated in November 1992 Nicolae Văcăroiu as Prime Minister of a minority cabinet formed by FDSN.

He is a Romanian swimming champion and record holder in butterfly, individual medley, relay events, and honorable mention All-American in the 100 m butterfly. Coci also became the first swimmer for the University of Alabama to break a 47-second barrier, when he posted a time of 46.50 seconds in the same stroke at the NCAA Division I Championships.

Unfortunately, Rosu did not finish the event, as he successfully lifted 136 kg (300 lb) in the single-motion snatch, but failed to hoist 165 kg (364 lb) in the two-part, shoulder-to-overhead clean and jerk.
