Alexey Zaitsev (born 17 September 1993) is a Russian bobsledder. He competed in the four-man event at the 2018 Winter Olympics. [1]

Personal life

Zaitsev began dating Russian gymnast Aliya Mustafina in the fall of 2015 after meeting at a hospital where both were recovering from sports injuries. [2] They married on 3 November 2016 in his hometown of Krasnodar. [3] [4]

In January 2017, it was announced that Aliya was pregnant and that the baby was due in July. [5] Mustafina gave birth to a girl named Alisa (Алиса) Mustafina-Zaytseva on 9 June 2017. [6] [7] On 29 April 2018, Mustafina announced that they had divorced one month earlier. [8]

Angelina Alekseevna Simakova is a Russian artistic gymnast. She resides in Obninsk, Russia, and is coached by Irina Kolobova. She is the 2019 Russian national all-around champion and the 2018 Russian national all-around silver medalist. Internationally, she was a member of the Russian teams that won gold at the 2018 European Championships and silver at the 2018 World Championships.

Russia womens national artistic gymnastics team

The Russia women's national artistic gymnastics team represents Russia in FIG international competitions. Additionally, they have competed as the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) and the Russian Gymnastics Federation (RGF) due to the World Anti-Doping Agency banning athletes from representing Russia in international competition. While competing under the Russian Olympic Committee, they won the gold medal at the 2020 Olympic Games. They also won the team gold medal at the 2010 World Championships and at the inaugural Junior World Championships in 2019.
