Alexz Wigg (born 11 November 1989), is an English International motorcycle trials rider.

Biography

Born in Aylesbury, United Kingdom, Wigg started riding at 4 years of age. He progressed through the schoolboy trials ranks and was European Youth Champion in 2004. [1] For 2006 Wigg rode a Gas Gas motorcycle and contested the Youth World Championships and European Junior Championships, emerging as winner of both titles. [2] 2007 saw him finish runner up in the Junior World Championships. For the 2008 season he was again runner-up in the Junior World Championship, and that year also in the Junior European Championship. Wigg finally clinched the Junior World title in 2010, along with the European Title and a win at the famous Scottish Six Days Trial. [3] In 2011 he switched to riding for the Sherco factory team, contesting the FIM Trial World Championship. He hit problems mid-season and in 2012 he went back to riding in the world championships for the Gas Gas factory. [4]

In 2010, he was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.

Ossa was a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer which was active from 1924 to 1982 and from 2010 to 2015. Founded by Manuel Giró, an industrialist from Barcelona, Ossa was best known for lightweight, two-stroke-engined bikes used in observed trials, motocross and enduro. The company was known originally as Orpheo Sincronic Sociedad Anónima (O.S.S.A.) and was later renamed Maquinaria Cinematográfica, S.A..

Antoni Bou i Mena is a Spanish professional motorcycle trials rider. He has been the sole outdoor and indoor FIM Trial World Championship champion from 2007 to 2021. With these 30 world titles, he is the most successful rider in history, surpassing Dougie Lampkin and Jordi Tarrés who is third with 7 outdoor titles. At the age of 20 years and 5 months, Bou was the second youngest rider ever to win the World Indoor Title, and the youngest to do it on a 4-stroke motorbike.

Martin Lampkin

Harold Martin Lampkin was an English professional motorcycle competitor. He competed in a variety of off-road motorcycle events, but specialized in observed trials competitions, winning the inaugural FIM Trial World Championship held in 1975. In a genre of motorcycling competition that features balletic grace and acrobatic finesse, Lampkin was an iconoclast, using sheer momentum and physical strength to assault trials course sections. He died in 2016 of cancer.

Mick Andrews, is an English former international motorcycle trials rider. He was FIM European Trials Champion in 1971 and 1972 and is a five times winner of the Scottish Six Days Trial, taking the laurels in 1970, 1971, 1972, 1974 and 1975, equalling the record set by Sammy Miller. In 2015, Andrews was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.

Malcolm Rathmell

Malcolm Rathmell, is an English former international motorcycle trials rider. He won the Scottish Six Days Trial in 1973 and 1979, and clinched the FIM Trans America Trials Championship in 1974. Rathmell is a six-time winner of the British Trials Championship between 1971 and 1981 and six-time winner of the Scott Trial between 1971 and 1980. In 2013, Rathmell was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.

Bernie Schreiber American motorcycle racer

Bernard Schreiber, is an American former international motorcycle trials rider. He became the only American to win the FIM Trial World Championship in 1979. Schreiber is also four-time winner of the NATC Trials Championship, winning the title in 1978, 1982, 1983 and 1987. In 2000 he was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

The FIM Trials European Championship is organised by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme and has been held since 1992. The championship gives up and coming riders a chance to compete at international level against top class riders, many who have progressed to become champions in the FIM Trial World Championship such as current champion Toni Bou and past champions Dougie Lampkin and Adam Raga

Emma Bristow, is an International motorcycle trials rider and previous Women's World Champion. In 2014 Emma became the first British rider to win the Women's FIM Trial World Championship. She also won the Women's FIM Trial European Championship in 2013 and the British Women's title in 2014.

Eddy Lejeune, is a Belgian former International motorcycle trials rider and 1982, 1983 and 1984 FIM Trial World Championship title holder. Lejeune was also a seven-time Belgian Trials National Champion.

Romain Febvre is a French professional motocross racer. He has competed in the FIM Motocross World Championships since 2011. Febvre is notable for winning the 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship in the MXGP class for motorcycles displacing 450cc.

Claire Bertrand, is a former French Women's International motorcycle trials rider. Bertrand is 7 times French Women's Trials Champion, winning the title in 2000 through 2006 inclusive and was a member of the winning French Women's TDN team in 2004.
