Alice Claire Fulks (born January 16, 1982) is a voice and stage actress who got her start in voiceover work after she was introduced to ADV Films' ADR director Steven Foster, who cast her as the Countess of Werdenberg in the 2003 anime series Gilgamesh . [1] [2] Following her spectacular performance as the Countess, Alice was later on cast as the lead role of Mylene Hoffman in 009-1, which was praised by ANN reviewer Theron Martin. [3] In 2007, she was one of the hosts of the American Anime Awards presentation ceremony in New York Comic Con. [1] [4] [5] [6]

Gilgamesh is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shotaro Ishinomori. It was serialized in the Shōnen Gahōsha magazine Weekly Shōnen King from 1976 to 1978. A dark and apocalyptic anime series based on the original story was adapted by Group TAC in 2003. Gilgamesh is set in the super present and the plot revolves around characters who can be divided into four groups: The Countess and the Orga-Superior, the Mitleid Corporation, the siblings, and the Gilgamesh. With the development of the plot, the past and motives of the characters and their relationships with one another are exposed.

<i>009-1</i> 1969 Japanese manga series directed by Koichi Sakamoto

009-1 is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shotaro Ishinomori. The manga was serialized in the Futabasha publication Weekly Manga Action from 1967 to 1970, then returned briefly in 1974. The story concerns Miléne Hoffman, a female cyborg who works as a secret agent. The Japanese title of the manga was 009ノ1, or "Zero Zero Ku-no-ichi", a pun on kunoichi and a reference to the main character's espionage occupation.

<i>Air Gear</i> Manga and animé series

Air Gear is a shōnen manga written and illustrated by Ito "Oh Great" Ōgure. Air Gear revolves around the life of Itsuki Minami "Ikki or Crow", also known as "Baby Face", "Lil Crow", and his friends. The story follows their use of Air Gear, an in-universe invention derived from inline skates. Initial sections of the plot carries out the introduction of characters that eventually join Ikki. As the story progresses, it focuses on their roles as Storm Riders and their quest to be on the top of the Trophaeum Tower. The pinnacle that all Storm Riders hope to reach. Air Gear won the 2006 Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category. The series concluded on May 28, 2012 with Chapter 357, but was continued with a new chapter. At the end of Chapter 358, the author of the manga told readers to look forward to more Air Gear.

Best Student Council is a manga series that began in February 2005. It was quickly adapted into an anime television series produced by Konami and J.C.Staff which originally aired on TV Tokyo from April to September 2005. A PS2 dating sim game of the same name based on the anime was also made by Konami. The development staff includes composer Yoko Shimomura of Street Fighter II and Kingdom Hearts fame.
