Mark Peter Sinclair "Marc" Almond, is an English singer-songwriter and musician. Almond first began performing and recording in the synthpop/new wave duo Soft Cell. He has also had a diverse career as a solo artist. His collaborations include a duet with Gene Pitney on the 1989 UK number one single "Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart". Almond's career spanning over four decades has enjoyed critical and commercial acclaim, and he has sold over 30 million records worldwide. He spent a month in a coma after a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2004 and later became a patron of the brain trauma charity Headway.
David Bowie is the self-titled debut studio album by English musician David Bowie. It was released in the UK on 1 June 1967 with Deram Records. Its style and content is often said to bear little overt resemblance to the type of music that he was later known for, such as the folk rock influenced "Space Oddity" or the glam rock of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. The Beach Boys Today! is the eighth studio album by the American rock band the Beach Boys, released March 8, 1965 on Capitol Records. It signaled a departure from their previous records with its orchestral sound, intimate subject matter, and abandonment of car or surf songs. Side one features an uptempo sound, while side two consists mostly of introspective ballads. Supported by this thematic approach, the record became an early example of a rock concept album and established the group as album artists rather than just a singles band. It has since become regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time.

Hot Apple Pie is an eponymous debut album released by country music band Hot Apple Pie. It was released June 28, 2005 on DreamWorks Records Nashville. The tracks "Hillbillies", "We're Makin' Up" and "Easy Does It" were all released as singles, respectively reaching numbers 26, 54, and 50 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Due to the dissolution of the DreamWorks label in late 2005, the latter two singles were issued on MCA Nashville. It has been acquired by the British company Moonbug Entertainment, which specializes in 3D animation videos of both traditional nursery rhymes and original children's songs. London-based Derek Holder teamed up with his wife, Cannis Holder, to design videos that reflected classic nursery rhymes, with a modern aesthetic. Little Baby Bum is also available in additional languages; Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Polish, German, French, Chinese and Japanese.
Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park is a British music festival that has taken place annually since 2011 in Hyde Park in London. The idea behind the event was for music fans who enjoy live music but are not comfortable with the idea of a full multi-day festival to be able to experience the variety of artists and the atmosphere that such a festival would offer, without the associated necessities such as camping. The festival is designed to appeal to the over 35 demographic that makes up the majority of BBC Radio 2 listeners, although the event attracts fans of all ages. The line-up is compiled of the various adult contemporary music and specialist genres featured on Radio 2, including folk, country, soul, rock and jazz. The festival was hosted by Chris Evans and later Jo Whiley alongside other Radio 2 presenters and is broadcast live on the station and streamed on the BBC Red Button.
