Allen County-Scottsville High School is located in Scottsville, Kentucky, United States. [3] It was formed in the fall of 1974 by the consolidation of Scottsville High School and Allen County High School. It is the only high school in Allen County, Kentucky.

Athletics

Allen County-Scottsville High School is a member of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association. [4] [5] Their mascot is the Patriots and their school colors are Red, White and Blue. [6]

The station's studio and transmitter site is located along U.S. Route 31E near Barren River Lake in rural northeastern Allen County not too far from the county's northeastern boundary with Barren County. WPBM upgraded to a full HD signal in March 2018.

Chuck Smith is a former American football coach. Smith served as the head coach at Boyle County High School, Campbellsville High School, and Allen County Scottsville High School. Smith also served as linebackers coach at the University of Kentucky. At Boyle County, Smith won six state championships and a KHSAA record breaking five in a row from 1999 to 2003. Smith is highly regarded as one of the best football coaches in Kentucky high school football history.
