Allie Morse (born March 22, 1994) is an American ice hockey goaltender, currently playing with the Minnesota Whitecaps of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF).
During her teenage years, Morse attended Park High School in Minnesota, serving as the starting goaltender for the school's girls' hockey team. [1] [2] She was named a semifinalist for the Let's Play Hockey Senior Goalie of the Year Award in 2012. [3]
From 2012 to 2016, she attended Providence College, where she played for the Friars women's ice hockey programme. [4] She was named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week in November 2014. [5] As a junior she started in 29 games as and finished her career with an .886 save percentage. [6]
In 2017, she joined the then-independent Minnesota Whitecaps ahead of the team's exhibition tour in Sweden against Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) clubs. [6] She would return to the Whitecaps for the 2019–20 NWHL season to serve as Amanda Leveille's backup. [7]
Morse has been noted for her social media collaborations with fellow Whitecaps' goalie Amanda Leveille. [8] Her father, Steve Morse, has served as a head coach for the Park High School hockey team. [9]
The Minnesota Whitecaps are a professional ice hockey team in the Premier Hockey Federation. They play in Richfield, Minnesota, part of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, at the Richfield Ice Arena. Established in 2004, the Whitecaps were part of the Western Women's Hockey League (WWHL) during 2004 to 2011.

She debuted for the U.S. national women's team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.
Shiann Darkangelo is an American ice hockey player who currently plays with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She has played at the international level with Team USA and won gold at the 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship with the team. At the NCAA Division I level, she accumulated 42 points with the Syracuse Orange women's ice hockey program during the 2011–12 and 2012–13 seasons and registered 60 points with the Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program during the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons.

The 2020–21 NWHL season was the sixth season of the National Women's Hockey League in North America. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the season was held in a bubble in Lake Placid, New York, from January to February 2021, with all five teams returning from the previous season, along with the Toronto Six expansion team as the first Canada-based team to play in the league. The season was suspended again due to positive cases of COVID-19 within the bubble. On March 8, 2021, the league announced that the Isobel Cup playoffs would re-commence on March 26 and 27 at Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton, Massachusetts.
