Alyssa Mendonsa (born 1990or1991) is an Indian playback singer who made her debut in the film Karthik Calling Karthik with the song "Uff Teri Adaa". [1] [2]
Alyssa Mendonsa is the daughter of composer Loy Mendonsa of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio who compose music for Bollywood films. She also sang "Oh Girl" and "Papa Jag Jayega" along with Neeraj Shridhar and Ritu Pathak for the Sajid Khan movie Housefull . [3] Her vocal for the song "Adhoore" of Break Ke Baad was well received by the audiences. She also sang "Baby When You Talk To Me" for the film Patiala House . Her recent song was "Khushfehmiyan" for the film One by Two (2014) with Shankar Mahadevan.
Mendonsa song "Khaabon Ke Parinday" from the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara took the airwaves by storm. The melodious, soft acoustic guitars, harmonicas and stiff jazz style drums make this an endearing song / beat to listen to. [4] Filmed on Katrina Kaif, this song has seen unsurpassed demand on airwaves. She has rendered a song in the 2013 Malayalam film Amen . She recently sang a song "Be You" for a Gurgaon based fashion and lifestyle e-commerce portal Jabong.com. The song is being featured on several TV channels in India.

Farhan Akhtar is an Indian actor, filmmaker and singer who works in Hindi films. Born to screenwriters Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, he established the production company Excel Entertainment, along with Ritesh Sidhwani, in 1999.
Loy Mendonsa is an Indian music director and part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio which consists of himself, Shankar Mahadevan and Ehsaan Noorani. Before becoming a music composer, he played piano and keyboards for famous Indian music composers such as A. R. Rahman and Nadeem-Shravan. His daughter, Alyssa Mendonsa, made her singing debut with the song Uff Teri Adaa from the movie Karthik Calling Karthik.
Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy is an Indian musical trio consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. Zoya Akhtar is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Hindi cinema. Born to Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, she completed a diploma in filmmaking from NYU and assisted directors Mira Nair, Tony Gerber and Dev Benegal, before becoming an independent writer and director. Bhagat served as the editor. It became the first installment of the Housefull franchise.
The 57th Filmfare Awards were held on 29 January 2012 at Film City, Mumbai honoring the best film of 2011 from the Hindi-language film industry. The ceremony was jointly hosted by Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Incidentally, both of them have hosted the award ceremonies previously but with different co-hosts, hence making it the first time for this pair to host the show.
