Amanda Bergman is a singer-songwriter from Dalarna, Sweden. She has previously performed and released music under the stage name Idiot Wind (taken from Bob Dylan's song of the same name) and as Hajen. [1]

Career

Bergman began her professional career under the stage name Hajen (Swedish for "the shark") and used the name Idiot Wind from 2010 to 2014. [2]

Bergman is a member and lead-vocalist of the Swedish band Amason with Gustav Ejstes, Pontus Winnberg, Nils Törnqvist and Petter Winnberg. [3] The band released its debut album Sky City in January 2015.

She was previously married to Kristian Matsson, also known as The Tallest Man on Earth and they cooperated on the soundtrack of Swedish director Gorki Glaser-Müller's film En Gång Om Året (Once A Year). [4]

She also provided vocals on the album I Never Learn by Lykke Li. [5]

Her primary instrument is the piano; however, she also plays the accordion at times.

In 2015, she had a hit with "Vintersaga", a cover of a song by Ted Ström, after it was featured in a Volvo car ad. The single was released crediting Amanda Bergman. Her debut album Docks, her first album under her own name, was released on February 26, 2016, on the record label INGRID. [6]

In 2016, Bergman was handpicked to perform at the Polar Music Prize ceremony, celebrating laureates Max Martin and Cecilia Bartoli. She performed the song "Love Me Harder", penned by Max Martin and originally performed by Ariana Grande. [7]

Ingrid (record label) Swedish record label, artist collective

Ingrid is a Swedish artist collective and record label founded in 2012. They released their first compilation on Record Store Day in 2012. The collective's musical work is notable for containing multiple side-projects by its members that do not adhere to the line-ups of their primary ventures; for example, Björn Yttling has a track entitled "Cuban Lips" under the stage name Yttling Jazz on the Ingrid Volym 1 compilation; however, he is also featured as a member of the band Smile along with Teddybears member Joakim Åhlund. Wild Belle American band

Wild Belle is an American band, composed of siblings Elliot Bergman and Natalie Bergman. They appeared on Conan on November 26, 2012. Their debut album, Isles, was released by Columbia Records on March 12, 2013. They have released three songs from the album: "Keep You" in February, "Backslider", and "It's Too Late". Their song "Shine" was featured on the soundtrack of the 2013 movie The Way, Way Back and in Grey's Anatomy season 9, episode 13. Their song "Keep You" was played in the movie "Pitch Perfect" and in "The Vampire Diaries" season 4, episode 3. In 2015 Wild Belle worked with Diplo and DJEMBA DJEMBA to write "Be Together", which is the first track off Major Lazer's third album Peace Is the Mission. The song is about a potential, but unlikely relationship. The film clip for "Be Together" depicts a widow and her partner's funeral, with flash backs to the day he dies in a motorcycle accident.

Amason is a Swedish musical band made up of vocalist Amanda Bergman ; guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist Gustav Ejstes ; keyboardist Pontus Winnberg ; drummer Nils Törnqvist ; and bassist Petter Winnberg.

MishCatt is the artistic pseudonym for Michelle Gonzalez, a singer-songwriter from San Jose, Costa Rica. She has previously performed and released music in the Costa Rica-based pop band Patterns, but left the band in 2014 to focus on her solo project.

Amanda Linnéa Cecilia Winberg, performing as Amwin, is a Swedish pop singer-songwriter, model, and influencer who first came to prominence as runner-up of the eleventh season of Swedish Idol in 2015, which led to her being signed to Universal Sweden, Island Records for UK, and Dew Process for Australia and New Zealand. Her debut EP AMWIN in Wonderland was released in 2019.
