Amanda MacKay is a model, television host, and journalist. She has been a host for MTV Canada, G4techTV, and GameTrailers TV on Spike TV. [1]

Biography

MacKay grew up in the Vancouver, British Columbia suburb of Coquitlam, where she attended Sir Fredrick Banting Junior Secondary School and was chosen as a finalist for the 1996 High School Cover Girl Model Search. [2] She also attended and wrote for the Centennial School newspaper. [2] She graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology with a degree in broadcast journalism and began her career as co-host of MTV Canada's flagship series Select . She went on to host and segment produce the "TRL" style show for seven seasons.

In addition to Select, while at MTV Canada, MacKay hosted and produced the network's only other original program, World Chart Express, a weekly show that highlighted music from around the globe.

MacKay previously hosted the news show Pulse on G4techTV, [3] and writes a gaming and tech article for Soak Magazine . She is also the host of Hardcore Candy, a syndicated all girls' action sports show,[ citation needed ] and co-host for various GameTrailers.com original shows, such as GTTV with Geoff Keighley. [1]

MacKay hosts segments for Spike TV web site. Additionally, she has been featured on segments of "Kurt the Cyber Guy," co-hosted Fuel TV's "Design for Humanity" special and the Arby's Action Sports Awards seen on Fox Sports and Fuel as well as guest-hosted for "Entertainment Tonight Canada."

MacKay's acting roles include "The 4400" on USA Network and the independent feature Rebuy.

In 2004, it merged with the G4 gaming channel which ultimately dissolved TechTV programming. At the height of its six-year run, TechTV was broadcast in 70 countries, reached 43 million households, and claimed 1.9 million unique visitors monthly to its website. A focus on personality-driven product reviews and technical support made it a cultural hub for technology information worldwide, still existing today online through its former hosts' webcasts, most notably the TWiT Network.

Aliya-Jasmine "AJ" Sovani is a Canadian television broadcaster and producer, initially known for her work on MTV. She is currently working as a host for NBC.

Gretchen Ong Ho is a Filipino television presenter and former volleyball player. She played collegiate volleyball for the Ateneo Lady Eagles from 2008 to 2013, where she was a member of the "fab five" who brought Ateneo to their first back-to-back UAAP finals appearances. She then played professionally for the Petron Blaze Spikers in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) from 2013 to 2015, where she helped the team win the 2014 Grand Prix Conference.
