Amar N. Ramadhin is a Surinamese physician and as of 2020 Minister of Public Health.
Amar Ramadhin is a general practitioner by profession,and holds a docterandus title. [2] He started teaching at the IBW University in Paramaribo. [3] In 2012, [3] he started at the Medisch Centrum Macdonald in Paramaribo, [4] and until 2020 worked at the General Practitioner Clinic CuraMed in Zorg en Hoop,Paramaribo. [5] He is a member of the medical staff of the Surinamese Football Association, [6] and since 2019,a staff member of the Vereniging van Medici in Suriname (Association of Medical Professionals). [7]
In 1999,Ramadhin became an executive in the Progressive Reform Party (VHP). [8] On 16 July 2020,Ramadhin was appointed Minister of Public Health in the cabinet of Santokhi. [9] On 19 July 2020,Ramadhin was temporarily appointed to head the COVID-19 management team. [10]

The case was a person who travelled from the Netherlands the previous week. On 3 April 2020,one person died. On 3 May 2020,all nine cases had recovered. On 18 May,an eleventh case was identified.

In 2015,he was first elected to the National Assembly by preferential votes. In 2020,Sharman was elected Vice Chairman of the National Assembly in an uncontested election.
Diana Marilva Pokie is a Surinamese politician. She was the assembly member from Brokopondo for the Brotherhood and Unity in Politics (BEP) before she was expelled. She returned to the assembly as the Brokopondo member representing the General Liberation and Development Party (ABOP) party. She became the first female vice-chairman of that party in 2019. On 16 July 2020,Pokie became Minister of Land and Forest Management. On 3 August 2021,Pokie was replaced by Dinotha Vorswijk.
Jacques Adam Drielsma (14 October 1886 –31 July 1974) was a Surinamese lawyer and notary who served as acting Prime Minister of Suriname in 1951,and Finance minister between 1949 and 1952. In 1957,he was sentenced to two years in prison for embezzlement.

Diplomatic relations between Cuba and Suriname were established on 23 March 1979. Suriname has an embassy in Havana since 2003. Cuba has an embassy in Paramaribo since 1981.
Ronald "Rudi" Elwin Kappel was a Surinamese pilot. He was one of the founders of Luchtvaartbedrijf Kappel-Van Eyck which is now called Surinam Airways,the first airline in Suriname. He also helped construct the Zorg en Hoop Airport,and the Rudi Kappel Airstrip. Kappel died in an air crash near Paloemeu.
