Amber Rose Revah (born 24 June 1986) is a British actress, writer, and voice actor.
She is known for playing the role of Dinah Madani in Marvel's The Punisher opposite Jon Bernthal and Ben Barnes for which she received a nomination for 'Outstanding Actress in a Drama'. [1] She is also known for her portrayal of Dr. Grace Hogart in the Amazon Prime Video sci-fi series The Peripheral and as Mary Magdalene in the box office hit Son of God . Amber Rose played Leena in two seasons of the Channel 4 and PBS colonial period drama Indian Summers with Julie Walters, and appeared in From Paris With Love opposite John Travolta.
Amber Rose Revah was born in London to a mother of European Jewish background, while her biological father is of Kenyan Indian heritage. [2] She has credited her European grandmother for getting her interested in acting at an early age by introducing her to theatre as a child. Amber Rose Tamblyn is an American actress and author. She first came to national attention in her role on the soap opera General Hospital as Emily Quartermaine at the age of 11. She followed with a starring role on the prime-time series Joan of Arcadia, portraying the title character, Joan Girardi, for which she received Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Her feature film work includes roles such as Tibby Rollins from the first two The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Megan McBride in 127 Hours (2010), as well as the critically acclaimed film, Stephanie Daley opposite Tilda Swinton which debuted at The Sundance Film Festival and for which Tamblyn won Best Actress at The Locarno International Film Festival and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award.
