Amen Allah Tissaoui (born 9 November 2004) is a Tunisian para-athlete who specializes in middle-distance running. He represented Tunisia at the 2024 Summer Paralympics.
In May 2024, Tissaoui competed at the 2024 World Para Athletics Championships and won a gold medal in the 1500 metres T38 and a bronze medal in the 400 metres T37 events. [2] He then represented Tunisia at the 2024 Summer Paralympics and won a bronze medal in the 1500 metres T37 event. [1]
Haider Ali is an all-around Pakistani para-athlete who created history at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China by winning Pakistan's first ever Paralympic games medal, a silver. He also shared a new world record with his jump of 6.44 meters at the Games. He has competed at the Paralympics on five occasions in 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024. He has the unique record of winning a country's first ever Paralympic gold, silver and bronze medals as he is the only Pakistani to have won a medal in Paralympic history. On 3 September 2021, he became the first gold medalist for Pakistan at the Paralympics. In the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships, he became the first Pakistani Para athlete to win a medal at the World Para Athletics Championships, a silver.
Brad Scott is a Paralympian track and field athlete from Australia competing mainly in category T37 middle-distance events. He represented Australia at the three Paralympics – 2008 to 2016 in athletics and won two silver and one bronze medals.
The National Olympic Committee of Pakistan was created in 1948. Pakistan first participated at the Paralympic Games in 1992, and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Paralympic Games since then. Michael Roeger is an Australian T46 athletics competitor. He competed at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 and 2020 Summer Paralympics athletics in middle distance and marathon running events. He has won one gold, one silver and four bronze medals at the World Para Athletics Championships and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. His gold in the Men's T46 marathon at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships was held as part of the London Marathon, set a new world record. In 2024, he is the holds the world record in the Men's 1500m T46 with a time of 3:36.51 set in 2017. Roeger competed at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics in the marathon. He has been selected to compete at the 2024 Summer Paralympics, Paris,France - his fifth Games - in the Men's 1500 m T46.
Deon Kenzie is an Australian Para athlete who competes in the T38 (classification) prominently in the 1500m. He has won medals at the 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2024 World Para Athletics Championships including gold in the Men's 1500 m T38 in 2017. He won a silver medal in the Men's 1500 m T38 at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
Jaryd Clifford is an Australian Paralympic, vision impaired, middle-distance athlete. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics in athletics. He won gold medals in the Men's 1500m and 5000m T13 events at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships. Clifford represented Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, where he won silver medals in the Men's 5000m T13 and Men's Marathon T12, and a bronze medal in the Men's 1500 m T13. He has been selected for the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
The United States Virgin Islands (USVI) sent a delegation to compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7–18 September 2016. This was the Virgin Islands' second time competing at a Summer Paralympic Games. They were represented by one athlete, Ivan Espinosa, who contested one event, the men's 1500 meters T37. In that event, he came in 8th place.

Mateus Evangelista Cardoso is a Brazilian Paralympic athlete with cerebral palsy. He competes in several T37-classification athletics events. He represented Brazil at the 2016 Summer Paralympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he won the silver medal in the men's long jump T37 event. In 2021, he won one the bronze medal in the same event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
Wen Xiaoyan is a Chinese Paralympic athlete. She represented China at the 2016 Summer Paralympics and she won two gold medals and one silver medal. She also won three gold medals at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
Bilel Aloui is a visually impaired Tunisian Paralympic athlete. He represented Tunisia at the 2016 Summer Paralympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he won the bronze medal in the men's 5000 metres T13 event. He also competed in the men's 1500 metres T13 event where he finished in 6th place.
Nataliia Kobzar is a Ukrainian Paralympic athlete. She competes in 100, 200 and 400 metres sprinting events for T37-classified athletes. She is a three-time medalist, including gold, at the Summer Paralympics. She won the gold medal in the women's 400 metres T37 at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, France.
Nathan Maguire is a British wheelchair racer. He won multiple medals at both the 2018 and 2021 World Para Athletics European Championships, and also won the 400 metres mixed class race at multiple British Athletics Championships. Maguire competed in the 4 × 400 metres relay T53/T54 at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, and competed in the 400 metres T54, 800 metres T54 and mixed 4 × 100 metres relay events at the delayed 2020 Summer Paralympics. He was part of the British team that won a silver medal in the 2020 Paralympic mixed 4 × 100 metres relay. He also competed for England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and won the 1500 metres T54 event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
