Aminath Rouya Hussain

Aminath Rouya Hussain (born September 1, 1990) is a competitive swimmer from the Maldives. She competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, and was the flag-bearer for her nation during the opening ceremonies of those games.

This was the nation's seventh consecutive appearance at the Olympics, the delegation consisted of two athletes each in track and field and swimming. For the first time since their debut at the Summer Olympics, the Maldives entered one badminton player into the Olympics. Mohamed Ajfan Rasheed, the inaugural Maldivian badminton player to compete at the Olympics, was the nation's flag bearer at the opening ceremony with Azneem Ahmed carrying the Maldivian flag in the closing ceremony. All the athletes qualified for the games through wild cards from International Association of Athletic Federations FINA and Badminton World Federation. Aminath Shajan is a Maldivian swimmer. She was born in Malé. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Shajan also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the Women's 100 metre freestyle event where she ranked 46th with a time of 1:05.71. She did not advance to the semifinals. She was the flagbearer for the Maldives during the Parade of Nations.

Tracy Ann Route is a Micronesian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. She is a two-time Olympian, and holds numerous Pacific age group records in the freestyle and butterfly. She was the first woman to represent the Federated States of Micronesia at the Olympics.

She represented Maldives at the 2020 Summer Olympics after receiving tripartite invitation.
