Amir Wilson (born 6 February 2004) is an English actor. He played Will Parry in the HBO and BBC One series His Dark Materials , Tiuri in the Netflix series The Letter for the King , and Dickon in the 2020 film adaptation of The Secret Garden .

Personal life

Wilson was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire to English father, Paul, and Sudanese mother, Nagla. [1] He has an older sister, Iman. [2] He grew up in the suburb of Monkmoor, attending St. Giles' C of E Primary School. [3] Wilson began acting and training with local theatre group Get Your Wigle On. [4]

His father died in May 2018. [3] [5]

The Letter for the King is a coming-of-age fantasy adventure television series developed by Will Davies and FilmWave for Netflix inspired by the classic 1962 Dutch novel De brief voor de Koning by Tonke Dragt. The six-episode series was released on Netflix on 20 March 2020.

Outer Banks is an American action-adventure mystery teen drama television series created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke that premiered on Netflix on April 15, 2020. The series is set in a community in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and follows the conflict between two groups of teenagers in search of a lost treasure.

<i>The Midnight Club</i> American horror television series

The Midnight Club is an American horror mystery-thriller television series created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong, with Flanagan serving as showrunner, lead writer and executive producer.
