Amish Sidhu (born 15 October 1996) is an Indian cricketer who plays domestic cricket in Ireland for Phoenix. [1] [2] [3] He made his List A debut on 6 May 2021, for Munster Reds in the 2021 Inter-Provincial Cup. [4]
Navjot Singh Sidhu is an Indian politician from the Indian National Congress, television personality and retired international cricketer. He is the former President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. Formerly, he was the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs in the state government of State of Punjab. Sidhu joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2004 and contested the general election from Amritsar that year. He won the election and held the seat till 2014 winning also the next election. He was nominated to the Rajya Sabha in 2016 from Punjab before he resigned from the position the same year and quit the party. The 2021 Inter-Provincial Cup was the ninth edition of the Inter-Provincial Cup, a List A cricket competition that took place in Ireland during 2021. It was the fifth edition of the competition to be played with List A status. The number of teams was increased from three to four, with Munster Reds playing in the tournament for the first time. On 25 March 2021, Cricket Ireland confirmed the fixtures for the tournament. On 9 April 2021, Cricket Ireland announced the revised fixtures for the tournament.

Leading the team to promotion from the Championship in 2021, to winning the Premier league in 2022. This was the first time Balbriggan CC played in Ireland's top league. Ford's brother, Matt, also plays cricket for Munster Reds.

The 2023 Inter-Provincial Trophy, also known as Rario T20 Inter-Provincial Trophy for sponsorship reasons, was the 11th edition of the Inter-Provincial Trophy, a Twenty20 cricket competition being played in Ireland in 2023. It was the seventh edition of the competition played with full Twenty20 status. The tournament was played as a series of three-day festivals between four teams, with the fixtures being confirmed by Cricket Ireland on 5 June 2023. Leinster Lightning are the defending champions having won their 7th title in 2022.
