Pizzicato Five was a Japanese pop band formed in Tokyo in 1979 by multi-instrumentalists Yasuharu Konishi and Keitarō Takanami. After some personnel changes in the late 1980s, the band gained international fame as a duo consisting of Konishi and vocalist Maki Nomiya. With their music blending together 1960s pop, jazz and synth-pop, the group were a prominent component in the Shibuya-kei movement of the 1990s.

Orange Range are a 5-member Japanese rock band, based in Okinawa, Japan. Formed in 2001, the band began with Spice Music and later signed with Sony Music Japan's gr8! records division in 2003. Wu Kai Sha, formerly known as Wu Kwai Sha or U Kwai Sha, is a place at the shore of Tolo Harbour, northwest of Ma On Shan in the New Territories, Hong Kong. Wu Kai Sha is within the Sha Tin District, one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. The name roughly translates as Black Sand Creek, based on the accumulation of black iron ore which traditionally flowed down from the Ma On Shan (peak).

Esprit D'Air is a British-Japanese gothic alternative metal band formed in London in 2010 with members from Japan and England. In 2013, the band increased in popularity as their single "Shizuku" became the first playable song in the J-rock category in the video game Rock Band 3 but disbanded in the same year as members went back to Japan. Since reforming in 2016, Kai appoints session musicians and support members, which included some of the original line-up to perform with him on tour.

G.E.M. produced the song with Terrence Ma, and it was released on November 22, 2019, by Sony Music Taiwan. as the lead single from the album. "Full Stop" is a Mandopop genre song. Over a retro-styled musical motif, G.E.M. sings lyrics about devotion to the drama of her previous record label, Hummingbird Music Limited.
