So Dark the Con of Man is the second album by the Norwegian urban music duo Madcon, released in December 2007. Its title is an anagram used in The Da Vinci Code, a 2003 novel by Dan Brown.

D'Sound is a Norwegian neo soul band based in Oslo, Norway. The band was formed in 1993 with a line-up composed of lead vocalist Simone Eriksrud, bassist Jonny Sjo and drummer Kim Ofstad. After Eriksrud's initial departure in 2018, the band announced that they would continue as a duo and collaborate with various international artists to provide vocals for future material. Bae Louie band member Mirjam Omdal joined in 2019 as a lead vocalist. Eriksrud returned to the band as a touring member in 2022.

Simone Eriksrud is a Norwegian musician, singer and composer from Volda, and a member of D'Sound. She was earlier in her career known as Simone Larsen or just with the mononym Simone.

Hitesh Ceon is an Icelandic songwriter, producer and composer. He was a part of the production duo Element before it was disbanded in 2016. Hitesh has produced and written songs for artists like Madcon, CeeLo Green, Musiq Soulchild, Alexandra Burke, Snoop Dogg, Daley, Rick Ross, and reproduced two tracks with Michael Jackson for Motown Records.

Angela Renee Beyincé is an American songwriter and actress. She is also a cousin of American singers Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, and has made songwriting contributions to several of Beyoncé's albums including Dangerously in Love, Destiny Fulfilled, B'Day, and I Am... Sasha Fierce. Beyincé co-wrote the hit song "Naughty Girl", as well as the number one single "Check on It". She once worked as Vice President of Operations at Parkwood Entertainment. Beyincé has also written songs for the Fox television show Star, and in 2020 was cast in the BET comedy-drama series Sistas.
