An Young-gil (born 1 May 1980) is a South Korean professional Go player of 8-dan rank. As of 2011, An Young-gil was living in Australia promoting the game of Go. [1] Co-founder of Go Game Guru, an open membership organization to promote Go to English-speaking students.

Gil Vicente Futebol Clube, commonly known as Gil Vicente, founded in 1924, is a Portuguese professional football club that plays in Barcelos. It competes in the Primeira Liga, the top division of football in the country, and it is named after the Portuguese playwright of the same name. The China–Korea Tengen was a Go competition. It was played between China's Tianyuan titleholder and Korea's Chunwon titleholder each year in a best-of-three match. The competition was held 19 times, from 1997 to 2015. China won 10 times and Korea won 9 times. The Chunwon was discontinued after 2015, which ended the China–Korea Tengen as well.

Ha Sungbong defeated professionals Yanigasawa Satoshi and Furuya Yutaka. Kim Sungjin defeated 25th Honinbo and Japan's top title holder Cho Chikun. He also defeated Kato Atsushi. In the main tournament, he was knocked out by Iyama Yuta Meijin in the first round. Iyama Yuta came out as the winner. He beat Yamashita Keigo at the final. The winner's prize was ¥10,000,000.

AlphaGo versus Lee Sedol, also known as the DeepMind Challenge Match, was a five-game Go match between top Go player Lee Sedol and AlphaGo, a computer Go program developed by DeepMind, played in Seoul, South Korea between 9 and 15 March 2016. The Bingsheng Cup was an international women's Go tournament. It was held annually from 2010 to 2019, a total of 10 times. The tournament was held at Qionglong Mountain in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. It is also known as the Qionglong Mountain Bingsheng Cup. The name bingsheng is in honor of Sun Tzu, who is said to have written The Art of War at Qionglong Mountain; the historicity of Sun Tzu is uncertain.
