Dr. Ana Stojanoska, born 22 November 1977 in Prilep, SR Macedonia is a theatre researcher and writer.
She graduated from the Blaže Koneski Faculty of Philology at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje in 2001, earned her MA in 2003 and PhD in 2007 in theatrology on the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. [1]
In March 2002 Stojanoska began work as a freelance associate researcher at the Institute of Theatrology at the University of Skopje, before becoming a coordinator – researcher at the same institute. In September 2003 she went for a study stay/specialist activity at the Museum of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
In April 2004 she was elected as a junior assistant for the subject of Macedonian drama and theater at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University of Skopje, and she was reelected for the same subject in February 2007. From April 2010 she was elected as assistant professor for the same subject, and in 2011 for the subject of comparative literature as well. Since the academic year of 2012/2013 she has been teaching History of world drama and theater. These subjects are being taught to students from all study groups in the faculty. She is engaged with her subjects in MA studies, and the accreditation for the PhD studies at the Faculty is in procedure, where she has three subjects (for licensing/accreditation as mentor for the same studies as well).
Stojanoska is a member of the Association for comparative literature of Macedonia and member of the program committee of Macedonian ITI-UNESCO.
Publishing poetry, prose and essayistic-scientific papers in the field of theater, gender studies [2] and literary-critical theory in Macedonian and foreign literary periodicals. She actively cooperates in many events in the field of theatre museology both home and abroad.
She used to write reviews for theatre plays in the daily newspaper Dnevnik

Stojanoska has participated in the work of several scientific symposia and workshops in the field of theater science. Idea, concept and realization of the jubilee "Sixty years of the death of Vojdan Chernodrinski" at MTF. Vojdan Chernodrinski, led several scientific debates and promotions at the same festival, hosted an international workshop dedicated to August Strindberg, at the FDA-Skopje festival in Skomrahi in 2012, and hosted a debate at the Free zone [15] festival in Vinica in 2013.
She has also collaborated in many research projects in the field of theater studies.
Prilep is the fourth-largest city in North Macedonia. According to 2021 census results, it has a population of 63,308 and is known as "the city under Marko's Towers" because of its proximity to the towers of Prince Marko.

Voydan Popgeorgiev – Chernodrinski was a Bulgarian playwright from the region of Macedonia. His pseudonym is derived from the river Black Drin. Today he is considered an ethnic Macedonian writer in North Macedonia and a figure who laid the foundations of the Macedonian theatre and the dramatic arts.
Jovica Tasevski-Eternijan is a Macedonian poet, essayist and literary critic.

Vlado Goreski – Rafik is a Macedonian and Slovenian graphic artist, artist, scenographer.
Pirej is a novel by Macedonian author Petre M. Andreevski published in 1980. The novel, set during the period of the Balkan Wars, World War I and the period after, tells the story of Jon and Velika, a couple living in a village in southern Macedonia. The novel's title translated to couch grass refers to the perseverance and stoicism of Macedonian people through history. In modern day, Pirej is considered to be the author's magnum opus and one of the main and most important works written in Macedonian during the 20th century. It has been translated to Croatian, English, Russian and German.
Pece Trajkovski – Brada is a Macedonian musician. He is the lead accordion / guitar / synth player and co-author of the band Foltin since 1999. As a Foltin member, so far, Brada worked on 8 studio albums, music for over 20 theater pieces, several film scores and plenty of live performances on festivals, events, clubs etc.
Zvonko Taneski is a Macedonian poet, literary critic, university professor in Slovakia and translator.
Darko Lukić is a Croatian theatre scholar, writer, cultural theorist and playwright living and working in Germany. As an expert in multi-disciplinary expert pool for capacity building for European Capitals of Culture worked at audience development program ADESTE+. and Rijeka, European capital of Culture 2020. Lukić also publishes scientific papers and participates in international conferences and seminars and translates from English and Spanish language. He is the member of Programme Board of Maribor 2012, European Capital of Culture 2012. Macedonian Blood Wedding is a play by the Bulgarian publicist, Voydan Chernodrinski. It was first published and shown in theaters in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1900. The drama was written in the Macedonian Debar dialect and in standard Bulgarian, making it one of the first books written mostly in a Macedonian dialect.
Sofija Trenchovska is a writer, editor, producer, philologist and cultural activist from North Macedonia, living in Great Britain.
Sofija Grandakovska is an academic, poet and author in the field of comparative literature studies and interdisciplinary studies in Holocaust, Jewish history, literature and culture, with a specialization in the Jewish and Holocaust history in the Balkans. Another area of interest is Byzantine studies. She has significant publications in literary and visual semiotics, literary theory, critics and interpretation and art.
