Anambra South senatorial district in Anambra State, Nigeria is one of the three senatorial districts in the State. [1] It has seven local governments areas. These are: Aguata(300PU), Ekwusigo(175PU), Ihiala(278PU), Nnewi North(198PU), Nnewi south(295PU), Orumba North(231PU), Orumba South(192PU) totaling 1,669 polling units. [2]

The district covers 1,320 of the 4,887 km2 area of Anambra state. [3] The incumbent representative of this senatorial district in the Nigerian Senate is Ifeanyi Ubah. [4]

The 2023 Nigerian presidential election in Anambra State was held on 25 February 2023 as part of the nationwide 2023 Nigerian presidential election to elect the president and vice president of Nigeria. Other federal elections, including elections to the House of Representatives and the Senate, will also be held on the same date while state elections will be held two weeks afterward on 11 March.
