Anchal Sahu (born 18 March 2005) is an Indian television actress who is best known for her portrayal of Vashma Baig in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye , Bondita Roy Choudhary in Barrister Babu and Parineet Kakkar in Parineetii . [1]

Early life

Anchal was born on 18 March 2005 in Mumbai. [2] [3] [4] She hails from Berhampur in Odisha. [5] She has a sister, Anjali Sahu. [6]

Career

Anchal started her acting career at the age of 6, through an advertisement. [7] She has worked in several TV shows as a child artist. [8]

She rose into fame playing Vashma Baig in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye in 2021. [9] [10] In the same year, she played the female lead in Colors TV show Barrister Babu , where she played the role of grown-up Bondita Das, a barrister, of pre-independent India who fought for the rights of women at that time. [8] She is currently playing the lead role of Parineet Kakkar in Colors TV show Parineetii . [11] [12]
