Anchor City Rollers is a roller derby league based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). [1]

History

Anchor City Rollers was founded in 2010 as the Halifax Roller Derby Association. Its name was changed to Anchor City Rollers in 2014. [2] In late 2018, the league had roughly 100 members and actively recruits new membership. [3] The league was voted silver for best sports league by readers of The Coast in 2012 [4] and 2015, [5] and gold in 2013, [6] 2014, [7] and 2018. [8] It was nominated for a NS WomenActive Trendsetter Award in 2016. [9]

Anchor City was accepted into the WFTDA Apprentice Program in August 2018. [10] Anchor City was made a full WFTDA member league in February 2019. [11]

Royal Windsor Roller Derby (RWRD) is a flat track roller derby league based in Berkshire, England. Founded in 2007 as Royal Windsor Roller Girls, RWRD is Berkshire's first roller derby league.

ICT Roller Derby

ICT Roller Derby (ICTRD) is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Wichita, Kansas. Founded in 2006, ICT was the first roller derby team in Kansas. ICT is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

Rage City Roller Derby

Rage City Roller Derby is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Anchorage, Alaska. Rage City currently consists of two teams, the Rage City All*Stars and Sockeye Sallys. The Rage City All-Stars represent the best of Rage City and travel all over the world to compete in bouts. Sockeye Sallys is RCR's "b-team", playing mostly home games and bouts throughout the state. Rage City is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

Akron Roller Derby

Akron Roller Derby is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Akron, Ohio. Two separate Akron-based leagues, NEO Roller Derby and Rubber City Rollergirls, merged in November 2016 to become Akron Roller Derby. The league consists of two teams which compete against teams from other leagues, and is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

Diamond State Roller Derby

Diamond State Roller Derby (DSRD) is a flat track roller derby league based in Wilmington, Delaware. Founded in 2006, the league has since grown to include four teams: one travel team and three home teams. Diamond State is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

Columbia Quadsquad

The Columbia QuadSquad (CQS) is a roller derby league based in Columbia, South Carolina. Founded in 2007, the league consists of the Allstars, who represent the league in WFTDA interleague competitions around the country, the Miss B-havers, the b-level travel team, and three home teams: the Belles on Wheels, Capitol City Vixens and Spawn of Skatin'. The league also has a junior derby team, the Columbia QuadSquad Minis. Columbia is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

The Babe City Rollers is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Bemidji, Minnesota. Founded in 2009, Babe City is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

Mason-Dixon Roller Vixens

Mason-Dixon Roller Vixens (MDRV) is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Hagerstown, Maryland, and a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). Founded in 2007, it consists of two teams: the WFTDA-ranked travel team, the All-Stars, and its B-team, the Cannon Brawlers.
