Andalucia is the upcoming second album by Filipino rock band IV of Spades. It is scheduled for release by Sony Music Philippines on November 5, 2025. The album will contain 12 tracks, of which four ("Aura", "Nanaman", "Konsensya", and "Suliranin") were previously released as the singles in 2025, after their return for nearly five years of hiatus. It is also the first album that features their lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Unique Salonga since his departure from the band in 2018.

Background

In 2018, Unique Salonga left the band to pursue a solo career, [1] and the group went on indefinite hiatus in 2020. [2] In Later 2020, Zild Benitez began his solo career and released four albums. In 2021, Blaster Silonga pursued his solo career and released a few singles and four albums.

On July 16, 2025, the band officially returned with the new surprise-released single titled "Aura" under Sony Music Philippines, marking their first release in five years, and also with their new management, Balcony Music Entertainment. The song also marked Salonga's return as the band's lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. [3] [4] On August 13, 2025, the band surprised-release their new single, titled "Nanaman" (lit.'Again'). [5] On September 10, 2025, the band surprise-released their third single, titled "Konsensya" (lit.'Conscience'). [6] On October 8, 2025, the band surprise-released their fourth single, titled "Suliranin" (lit.'Problem'). [7]

The release of "Aura" as well as the group's reunion was met with mass reactions. The song received instantaneous commercial reception upon release. According to Billboard Philippines , "Aura" was an immediate success on streaming services and social media platforms. The track debuted on the magazine's record charts with two days of chart-tracking data, entering at number 28 on the Philippines Hot 100 and number 14 on the Top Philippine Songs. [8] The track peaked at number four on the Philippines Hot 100 and number three on the Top Philippine Songs. [9]

Release

On August 29, 2025, at the Wish 107.5 11th anniversary concert, the band announced that they will be releasing their second album titled Andalucia, and is set to be release on November 5, 2025, under Sony Music Philippines. [10]

On September 10, 2025, the band is set to perform at the inaguaral Filipino Music Awards at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 21, 2025. [11] On October 5, Karpos Multimedia announced that the band is set to perform their solo concert on December 12, 2025 at the same venue. [12]
